Once again end of game clock management stinks

SLU should have used a time out when that final called set play broke down. They just threw up a prayer with 1 sec left. Just seems to get more frustrating just when I was thinking "maybe things are beginning to click."

Can someone describe the last 20 seconds? Who was in? Who shot? Did we get a shot off after the time out with 1 second? Did we have the ball under our basket?

we had 0.2 seconds left. We did a pathetic alley-oop to cory. It wasn't even close.

Bad defense lost us that game.

LaSalle hit the shot to go up 1

SLU brought it down the court and ran what looked like a double high post screen the man didn't get open there was another pass to another guy who wasn't open and McCall ended up dribbling into a defender and trying to shoot a jump shot from just outside the paint and it missed was deflected out of bounds and there was 0.2 on the clock so LaSalle posted all their guys in the paint and SLU players were all outside the paint Cassity threw it towards the basket on the inbounds for the tip but it was swatted down by a LaSalle player GAME OVER SLU LOSES AGAIN

Evans missed the shot, from short range off the backboard.

SLU led 75-68, but lost 78-77.

LaSalle hit 2 big 3's and LaSalle's offensive rebounding at crunch time was the difference, including the game winner, which was a second chance shot. LaSalle has talent, takes plays off on defense, but played tough defense at crunch time.

Evans missed the last shot...sucked that he was put into that situation with less than 5 seconds left on the clock.

I would say this is at least the 4th gut-punch loss that Bills fans have had to experience at the Fetz this season, where a game was lost in the final seconds (others being AP, Georgia and URI.) You could also include BG, however, that game was decided before the last minute. That is a lot to put your fanbase through! Take into account close road losses to good teams (Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Temple, Xavier) and you have complete frustration. You just think what could have been this season and instead deal with the reality of what has been put in front of you.
