slufanskip
classic.Jeff Harris, Donnie Dobbs, PJ Tucker. Hell Villanova played a 6'5" 4 quite often. Do I need to go on? Shouldn't we make all 6'5" guys who can board 4's since there is such a long list of successful one?
MB73
Same old debate. Most JUCO players wind up somewhere they can get a degree in "Sports Management", or something. SLU does not offer such degrees. There are plenty of great basketball players out there that cannot get thru SLU academics. Is this guy one? I'd say, it is 100-1 "against". It was only due to UB's ability to recruit high quality bigs like Luke Meyer that we played him the rest of his career at 2/3.

Be careful Skip, there are some on this board who dream of a Billiken team made up of Paul Eckerle, Chris Sloan, Luke Meyer, and the like. They might never win a game but they would play a gritty, gutty style of ball and be exemplary in the classroom.

Just putting this out there, not to start something, but SLU DOES offer a Certificate in Sports Business this year http://www.slu.edu/x30800.xml It will be, at least, a Minor next year. A certificate? What the hell is that? I have a participation certificate for basketball on my computer. If anyone really desires a certificate, just stop by and I can print you one out. I'll even personalize it for you.

The Pelican
Entrepreneurship How can you expect this to be an obtainable degree when they likely cannot spell much less pronounce their own major. We are talking about a mentally dull group of people here. We need degrees like Sports and You or Recreation and Leisure. Physical Education would be a challenging degree for some of these guys being hidden.
billiken_roy
the physical therapy major is not an undergraduate degree. and i believe the PT majors get the sports training degree as their bachelor degree. i.e. not an easy major.
