Draymond and players like him do the work that nobody else wants to do and takes the heat when something bad goes down.  It is a lot harder to be the villain than the hero. If these guys were useless how come the big stars retire before 35 and Kendrick Perkins and Udonis Haslem play until they are 40+.  The fact that the Warriors are even having the conversation ie who to keep in his prime Poole or washed Draymond speaks volumes.

If we had somebody like Draymond on last year's team do you think Jimerson would get bloodied every time he ran across the lane on a cut?  Probably not.

We did have someone like Draymond on the roster. He’s at Hampton now.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Does anyone else feel that way? Baseball, football, and basketball starting up all at the same time. I guess it is no comparison to summer time , but it is always pretty amazing nonetheless.

100%. A deep Cardinals playoff run to send off Albert and Yadi transitioning into the best Billiken season we’ve had in years would be *chefs kiss*.

The internet rumor is that he smoked laced weed and has had psychological problems from it and possibly been diagnosed as schizophrenic. Again just the internet rumor that is going around

Truly hope that’s not the case. That’s terrible.

Totally antidotal but I work with 2 people who are buying season tickets for the first time because they think we are going to be good.

For anyone that was at the open practice, they marked the seats of new season ticket holders with a white piece of paper. Wasn’t a huge amount of them but enough to be noticeable (at least to me)

    2. COVID absolutely had an impact.  I'd argue more than 4%.  Apples / oranges comparing SLU to the Blues.

Much older crowd going to SLU games than Blues games. And a different vibe altogether, I’d imagine the Blues fan base would be a lot less worried about COVID.

How do you measure what percent of the decline is attributable to COVID?

It’s not truly quantifiable but it undoubtedly had an impact. I think this year will be a true litmus test. We finally have a team that’s getting national attention in a year where fans can attend, there’s no vaccine requirement, and COVID is not getting the same attention as it was a year ago.
