I agree wholeheartedly with your Besler thoughts. I thought Gonzo was worlds better than MB. It's really hard to look good when your RB is getting beaten like a dead horse all night. He had to continuously cover for Besler and Orozco. Made a couple of breakaway saving tackles. Would have been nice to see Brooks get cap-tied last night. Maybe Klinsi is saving it for Mexico.

He did say "over a long period." Last time I checked, LaSalle isn't putting a team like last year's on the court every year....

The BE isn't near as powerful in baseball as it is in basketball. St. John's is a historically good program, but outside of that, it is a bit rough. Creighton is good too, but most of the better teams from the BE last year are now in the AAC or somewhere else.

How? The women haven't exactly been world beaters in the past. Is it not equivalent to us playing SIUE? (Local 'rival' who presets little threat)

IT IS A BASKETBALL UNIFORM. Everyone: make sure to get rid of anything you own that is "gangsta black". You always want to make sure you "present a positive, professional image" anywhere you go. None of us are gangsta enough to wear black. Also, DON'T YOU DARE wear hoodies. Absolutely unforgivable. In all seriousness, I'm not a huge fan of the black unis. I'm sure they'll look nice, but it seems like everyone has done it and it doesn't have the cool factor that many uniforms have nowadays. I really like our current blue and white, so I would like to stick with that, but I'm sure the gangsta black jerseys will be nice. As long as we don't come out in these giant logo jerseys Nike made some teams wear last year:

You have to feel for the kid. He was a good representative of the STL area. However, if Rosie was truly the heart and soul of that team, then they had bigger things to worry about. The real question is: who is finishing last in the BE? DePaul or Butler? Butler was going to have a tough season with him, but how bad are they going to be without him?

A DePaul fan on twitter made the same comment. Said they inflate the numbers by 2000+ per game. I'm not sure why anyone would go watch that circus of horrid basketball, much less thousands of people.

Amazing. They pull Mix, who killed our offensive opportunities the first half, and we go off with four in the second half. We moved to more physical CMs in Bradley and Jones and we could finally get things done. Im a Mix supporter, but his lack of strength killed any chance we had in the final third in the first half. He just could not compete physically with the Bosnian CBs.
