I’ve always liked his content. I don’t like is his constant 90’s pop culture references in an attempt to be funny. I think he has gotten better with that though. At first, his articles were nothing but Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Full House gags but it seems he has gotten away from that. I’m still not completely sold on him as a writer but he puts in the effort and seems to be improving. as for this article, I wasn’t thrilled about the Mizzou references but I won’t let it get my panties in a bunch. Overall it was a good piece.

Agree but it means something to bigger fans too. For example if Iowa State is playing Washington State on a Thursday in November I don’t give much thought of watching it. However, if Iowa State has a 10 by their name and Washington State a 12 there is a good chance I’m watching from start to finish. I would bet it also means a lot to the players on ranked teams too.

Man the Daddy Porter contract is going to rank right up there with Pujols as one of the worst in sports history.

Matter seems to be speaking about this like it is a stat and people should be proud he is leading the league in it. if he was a journalist instead of a fan boy maybe he would do some digging into a potentially big story. Why do they get so many flips and how is he making it happen.

This sucks and it's going to hurt the team. We will never know how much but it will hurt. He obviously did something so he gets a big middle finger from me. Unfortunately, with all that went down last year these guys need to be perfect angels. If it seems like a bad idea it probably is. It may not be fair but the basketball team will be held to a higher standard because of the bad press from last year.
