  1. Teams like the current Cavs roster are efficiency stats are not the end all. Yeah lebron has been inefficient at times but what else is there? Getting shumpert going? Making sure Tristan Thompson gets his? No. I think lebron is doing exactly what needs to be done to win. Getting everyone involved just enough to keep everyone honest.
  2. I'm a fan of nickname on the home jersey and city on the road jersey.
  3. Worked there during college. Owner didn't want to cooperate with other micros. That seemed like a poor marketing decision to me. Beer was decent in imo. food needed a little more quality but it's quality was better then some other places I worked that has a good reputation for quality.
  4. There's your problem. Watching the Nuggets. But really I would suggest reading zach Lowe on grantland. He really makes you appreciate the small details of NBA basketball that I don't see in college bball. Luckily I'm from an NBA city so I have a team to cheer for. I didn't pay attention to nhl at all until I moved to STL and had a team to cheer for
  5. Your argument is that they signed up for it. I guess I'm confused if signing up for something automatically makes everything you signed up for right and just? Is there no middle ground to say yeah he got what he signed up for but can we all agree it's a terrible system? I tend to agree with the northwestern football players on this one.
  6. I am defintely in favor of the actual rule changes. 6 foul thing is a test run so I don't know about that one. Though maybe I'm crazy because I think NBA basketball is a much better game to watch then college bball.
  7. Personally I would go abroad too I think. But the culture and language differences probably are super stressful for a lot of people. I couldn't imagine doing it more then a couple years though. Also way easier to get into the NBA from the nbdl which is a huge deal for a player like reed whose on the cusp and injuries can lead to a call up mid season
  8. Calm down. If you don't care don't watch. I don't need your approval to watch
  9. ^^^^^ Only bar I know of InThe city where you can catch the big fights. I believe the cover was $10 last may weather fight. I would be blown away if it isn't at least $20 this time
  10. This is a thought process I'll never follow or understand. why not do an unreal job even if you're not paid the perfect compensation? Presumably if you did a great job you could get a better job at the post or another outlet or start your own thing.
  11. Totally agree old guy. Have you considered the legal ramifications of such a policy bonwich? This situation is definitely better when handled where everyone is sober.
  12. Please tell me more about those first two worsts you mention. Those sound fascinating
  13. I was a crews backer until tonight. The way he handled the benching of MY was embarrassing. I never even saw anything that deserves a benching. I really do not understand.
  14. Ash kills us all the time. So frustrating for a redshirt junior
  15. He told us he wanted to play here. We declined to offer. Crews doesn't want too many cooks in the kitchen
  16. I ball at the downtown y. We don't need refs we got our own rules.
  17. I watch talent over most things. Id rather watch a Kentucky or Wisconsin or Virginia dominate than two terrible teams decide who sucks a little less. I'm a Milwaukee Bucks fan though so maybe that's made me jaded
  18. Agree it's weird that it's so soon. We won't know the full effects for years and how substantial this moment actually was in terms of change. I don't think putting up a statue seems anti-police. I think most reasonable people agree each group in this debate has some really good points and most of the group wants positive change benefitting the whole community. And everyone knows there are idiots on both sides as well. I'd guess SLU is generally very positive and proud of the stl police they work with.
  19. At first I thought the guy meant jayson was more of a player than most think. That certainly would've been a weird take on a #1 player
  20. I believe the article compared the Wichita loss this year to the duke loss that year.
  21. I honestly think he got bailed out alot by the refs in that a&t game. Loved the tenacity he had but the skill wasn't where it had to be to think he was going to continue anywhere near that stat line
  22. Jacobson hasn't been to the dance in 4 years? How is Jacobson's resume so much better than crews'? If you really believe running a successful program consists of firing coaches after 1 bad year I hope you are nowhere near our decision makers
