. Back in the dark days of the late 60's players got laundry money of $50 a month. I don,t have a present value table but I would think that would equate to 4 or 5 hundred dollars today. I do believe they get living expenses today for those that live off campus. Don,t know what those numbers are but I imagine they exceed most living cost if the player is resourceful.

PSL,s I believe every seat in the YUM center requires a lug. We,re not talking $450 a seat but several thousand dollars for the majority of seats in a large building. There are also several large companies in Louiisville with only one sport to spend their promotional dollars on. Kentucky has an older stadium in a city that doesn't have the corporate support. It is a lot harder to charge a lug on long time season ticket holders versus people scrambling to get tickets in a new building.
