Yes, because improved shot selection will bring that 3 point shot percentage up to the the mid-30s. And he fits the bill of a quick, strong player who can get most of his points close-in around the basket. I've seen many of his games, will fit the Schertz system nicely.

Not sure what to make of that. Perhaps the MVC teams can't compete financially to hold onto their players as well as the A10 and other higher ranked mid-major conferences that may have more NIL resources.

I trust Schertz will not take him unless he is physically able to play close to his former level. I do not know anything about the young man's demeanor, but trust coach will also only take him if he fits the team's chemistry. Given his recruitment history, he obviously can be a big plus if healthy. Well I was a Ford supporter who got on the dump Ford train late. One thing I disliked about Ford was his apparent dislike for playing 2 Bigs at the same time. I think that ends with Schertz. I see a lineup of Avila, Swope, Jimerson, Casey or Anya, & Dotzler/Hughes/or PG or CG still to be signed. And would love to see Swope and Jimerson pushed hard this Summer by players hungry for playing time. Needless to say, looks like this team will have a very solid, competitive and sizable rotation this season. Summer workouts should be viciously competitive.

Well if SLU doesn't have Schertz locked up already and he doesn't become the SLU coach, then May is an idiot. You don't "sit on your hands" for 2 weeks waiting for Shertz if you don't pretty much have a sealed deal ..... so I think Schertz is already signed.
