MarkMiller
Kwamain Mitchell, a 6-0 PG from the class of 2008 who attends Whitefish Bay Dominican in the Milwaukee area, plans to take an unofficial visit to Saint Louis University on Thursday. Rick Majerus offered Mitchell a scholarship about two weeks ago.

kshoe
Kwamain had a great tournament recently and is getting some major attention. Hopefully he enjoys the visit and Majerus can land another big fish.
Neighbor Dave
Mark, Thnaks for the update. This is good news. Hey Courtside: What's up with the "*" posts?
Billiken_Lady
Very good news. Coach Majerus has known Kwamain for a long time. Hope he plays at SLU.
bauman
Just a question---how do you know that RM has known KM for a long time?
kshoe
Billiken_Lady is connected somehow to our new coach.

Neighbor Dave
I must be dense, because I still don't get it. Does it relate to the pm? Is it another way of saying "no message"? Obviously, it's insignificant to the board as a whole, it is just baffling me.

Westy03
Anyone think we can get a verbal from him today? From the sounds of it the big boys are going to start pushing for him hard. Hopefully RM can get this kid in Billiken Blue.

Neighbor Dave
If Mark or anyone else hears anything about how this visit went, please let us know. KM would be a huge get, imo. PGs are huge in the college game and it would also give the staff some ammo with the "athletes" they are after if they can tell them that they've already got a big (BT) and a point (KM) lined up for them to play with. BigJ20
I don't know and I could have been mistaken, but I could have sworn I saw other recruits with kwamain today when they were riding around on campus. I saw AT driving them around in a golf cart and there were 2 or 3 others riding in the back, and I thought that one of them was Scott Suggs because I saw the afro and from where I was by the pool today, it looked exactly like him. Can anybody confirm if what I saw was true or just a mirage of me hoping for too much??
p diddy
It was not a mirage.
BigJ20
I knew it! Could this be a sign of something great in the next few weeks or so, i.e. a verbal from Suggs saying he wants to go here?? or was he just looking around?
Westy03
It probably doesnt hurt that its his second unoffical visit in about a week
DeSmetBilliken
If you read the article that Nate wrote about Jesse Perry visiting SLU, then you will notice the following: 1. Majerus wants both Suggs and Perry. 2. Perry was supposed to go talk to Majerus again before going to his practice with the Eagles. That would have put the 2nd visit for yesterday I think, but maybe him and Suggs came back to meet with Mitchell. Here's the link. It also contains a photo of Jesse Perry, so those who saw this convoy can comment if the third recruit was Jesse Perry. http://saintlouis.scout.com/2/646023.html

DeSmetBilliken
That's the headline on BillikenReport.com. The article is premium, so you have to pay for the subscription, but that's what the headline says.
MarkMiller
Kwamain enjoyed his visit and has Saint Louis as his top school ... for now. The Saint Louis coaches pressed a bit for a commitment, but Kwamain plans to wait. Others, including hometown Marquette, are getting involved. Just a hunch, but if Marquette were to offer, I think he'd pick the Golden Eagles and the Big East.
