Yeah, this concert will most definitely sell out since Lil' Wayne is arguably one of the most popular rappers out right now even though I'll be at the Illinois vs. Mizzou game. This might be a dumb question but will they give preferential treatment to SLU students to get tickets first before they start selling to the public?

Being a big bulls fan, I really don't see how hughes fits in with this team, as stated above, all the best players are guards and when they have been trying to play thabo sefolosha more, who will be a pretty good player in imo, I can't see hughes getting a lot of minutes. To me the bulls got a bad deal in this trade in that they got rid of Joe Smith when he was actually starting to play pretty well for the team, but something had to be done about Wallace, because he does absolutely nothing anymore. Also the coach is Jim Boylan, and again he is only an interim coach until the end of the year. I can only hope that John Paxson does something in the offseason because he pretty much dropped the ball with garnett and gasol last year during the season, and kobe earlier this year.

I don't know and I could have been mistaken, but I could have sworn I saw other recruits with kwamain today when they were riding around on campus. I saw AT driving them around in a golf cart and there were 2 or 3 others riding in the back, and I thought that one of them was Scott Suggs because I saw the afro and from where I was by the pool today, it looked exactly like him. Can anybody confirm if what I saw was true or just a mirage of me hoping for too much??

To me she looked like she was very disinterested and wanted to leave as soon as possible. I know she probably still believes that Soderberg should be the coach and given one last chance this upcoming year in her eyes. But this had to happen even if at the unoppurtune time it did. I really don't understand how you can be that bitter about how all of this situation went down now, even if it went right over her head. She has to realize we got one of the greatest coaches in NCAA history. In the long run, this coaching change will help us build up to be a great program for years to come even after majerus leaves. At least in my eyes it does

If coach Majerus has Tommie really excited like that a week or so after the coach that has been with him the last two years was fired abruptly, I can't wait to see how the other players react and play under him too!! The wait for the season to start is going to be 100 times more painful than the wait for Majerus to sign was!!!!

I saw this kid at the simon rec center this past saturday practicing for the Eagles and I was thinking to myself this kid is an awesome athlete and looked like he was playing real well within their practice/scrimmage they were having. I didn't know who he was or where he was from but he was wearing a Vandalia shirt, I'm pretty sure it was the same kid.

10 or less turnovers, outrebound GW by 5-10 boards, defend the 3 and not play that crappy pack defense, and SLU will be on their way to the A-10 finals I believe.

I know Kavon Lacey is really good from watching him play a couple times, but I thought that he wasn't going to be able to qualify?? I don't know, just what I've heard from a couple people. But you are right on the money with that statement V about his abilities.

I sure hope Quincy can keep this up on Friday when they face Lewis Jackson and Decatur Eisenhower. Lewis Jackson is one heck of a guard as I was in Springfield tonight to watch both the Eisenhower vs. Edwardsville and Quincy vs. Alton game. He seemed like he could get to the basket anytime he wanted against Edwardsville tonight.

That was the first time in a basketball game that I had not seen all the seniors on a team start the game on senior night. That blew my mind because its not like this Richmond team was going to jump out to a 10-15 point lead on us. I really don't understand Brad's reasoning for not starting JJ or WB alonside Ian??? I know it was a game that we absolutely couldn't lose, but c'mon that was ridiculous!

Larry you are very right! Chief Illiniwek is in no way offensive! The Illini Native Americans in Illinois actually are quite proud of how U of I portrays their people. The guy who is the mascot chief in the summer goes on a retreat with the Illini Native Americans and spends a significant amount of time learning their culture and ways as well as the tribal dance that he performs at halftime. I understand that most mascots and themes pertaining to Native Americans and other ethnic or cultural groups are offensive and need to go, but it is a sad day that the Chief has finally been run out of town
