was a big hit since there was absolutely NOTHING left when I arrived at 6 - I think maybe they put out some more, but I didn't bother to get back in line. Lots of (good) questions and comments, and Keith Pickett was there to tout the Shootout again. We have access to prime tickets through the Tipoff Club - $22 a pop for some of the best prep basketball you will ever see - 6 or 7 games, including Tommie Liddell v. a certain Mizzou recruit at 6. If you can take a day off to just veg out, immersed in hoops, then this is the venue. I haven't missed one in years. Your first really dumb post - how can you even compare the two except that they play the same position. Tom has real inside moves, he's a threat to make a good pass because he keeps his head up and sees the court, and he has a nice stroke on his ft shot. I'm elated to have him rather than KB.

Yes he did...missed one, and did another...barely, in the warmups.

There is a great family seafood place in Birmingham - the name escapes me, but it's near UAB and the downtown area - just ask, and everyone will know what you're talking about. It packs them in, and it would anywhere - a real trip, and great food. I'm not talking fish fry stuff, but comparable to New Orleans seafood. Affordable.
