So you’re telling me I can’t joke about it, but the guy who has actually insulted the member of the athletics department, threatened violence to at least 3 messageboard members including using the recipients children’s names has yet to be corrected or been given any sort of public reprimand for the behavior? If that poster is not receiving any repercussions for their behavior, I think public mockery of the behavior should be on the table? The first time you’re publicly acknowledging that Brian Kunderman is not brianstl is because I made a joke and not in response to the vile sh*t that’s been said about his appearance or his career ambitions? Brian Kunderman is not a decision maker, he’s not in meeting deciding the future of the athletics department. And I say that with all due respect, he’s a Media Relations SID and really is not a public figure like the athletics director, head coaches, or players.

I’m far from a tactically minded person. Akron was dominant in that first 45 minutes no doubt about it, but SLU defense held strong outside of the first goal. Akron scored their first goal on a PK given up by Abonnel. It stemmed from a miscommunication, that has been much improved. Leatherman should have drawn a penalty right after that wasn’t called. Could have changed the game. As for the two goals, they were really good, well worked goals. I think this is a much different team than the one that played Akron. Jack DiMaria has grown into a much larger presence for this team which is huge in the middle of the field. The back line and goalkeeper are playing at an elite level. The one thing they haven’t turned around consistently is the goalscoring. My point is they’ve already been doing things different. I think the boys and the fans should feel really good about the chances of making it to the College Cup.
