I have reached billiken_roy levels of posting (7/7)

  1. I understand but the reality is the odds are working against but as you said - what choice do we have at this point but to play on.
  2. So basically, unless we win virtually all our in conference games P4 teams will pass us by.
  3. Your reason given for why BC plays these games is only part of it - they also want the pay day they get as a buy game.
  4. Question - won't P5 schools have a better chance of their NET improving then non P5 schools actually getting better or staying static once conference play starts?
  5. No they won't - they don't want to risk any chance of a road loss to a nonpower 5 school. They are incentivized to not play those games at virtually any cost unless there is a connection to do so such as the head coach was the assistant at the P5 school or the P5 head coach wants to pay back his alma mater but those are even weak possibilities. Some of these games others are getting may also be fulfilling contract obligations bad earlier.
  6. I understand what some are asking for but the problem is if we have to play these higher profile schools as away games only and not as neutral site games then I am not that happy with giving up home games. Season tix holders are season tix holders because they want to attend games. Now I would be open to SLU coming up with some kind of recognition of what season tix holders are losing. If not a cheaper price then something else - what I don't know but lets get creative. Maybe the hoodie give away could be the season tix holder gets the hoodie free. Some kind of acknowledgement would show how they value season tix holders. By the way, sending be a pair of billiken sock two years in a row is not it.
  7. Apparently Kellen was just sick so I would expect him to play this Sunday
  8. I get your point and am not disagreeing with it overall. The problem is Missouri beat them by 21 so using score comparisons can be a bit iffy - Missouri is probably not going to beat Auburn but I do get that our 59 point win does have to raise eyebrows given BC previous performances.
  9. I am sorry you are upset but maybe counting to 10 and taking a deep breath will help.
  10. I understand that the crowd was not that large but to call them terrible is bit unfair. I thought they were really into the game. You can't control who doesn't come but if you are there you can be supportive, and this group was tonight. Even Rammer said so in the post-game interview - this is a fun team to watch and crowd really was in the game.
  11. Fair enough but the SLU part was why he posted the link.
  12. It was posted just above your comment
  13. Look this silly to go over something like this that long ago was found not to be true. Lock this thread
  14. I said I may not be explaining it well so I took ownership in your confusion not sure how that is being a prig. You sure acted like you didn't know.
  15. They announce the special pricing late - dynamic pricing means they price it once they see how many tix they have sold or not. Maybe early in the season they do less of it. For some reason you are having trouble understanding the concept of dynamic pricing - maybe I am not explaining it well enough for you - the issue is they do dynamic pricing during the year at times.
