Well he seems to have found big donors who are so dumb they don't see him as a goofball. I am not defending they guy because honestly my limited dealings with him have not been all that great but he must be doing something.

The games in CA are all possible losses to varying degrees so don't get ahead of your skis. Let's at least wait to see how we do against GCU

I understand your point but all that will get you is the 6th smallest crowd ever. We have to face it - the local teams fan base won't drive 20 miles. I am OK with SIUC they do travel some.

On 101 the TMS guys were talking about how week our OCC was. A listener text in and said it is week because MO is too chicken to play us. Then the biggest MO honk - Jackson, said well SLU use to have teams like Auburn on the schedule why not now. So my question is why does Auburn have to cover for MO. Auburn has other schools in AL they should be playing. The reason MO won't play us is the same reason most non P4 can't get games with P 4. Why don't they just say the quiet part out loud - the P4 teams long term plan is to ice out the non P4 schools from everything.

Having a strong base for home games and having a strong traveling base are two different things.

This is what I said on another post about Shertz may have some moral code that will prevent him from pounding a weak team into submission and all I got were posts that said he basically has no choice. I am not finding fault just saying people who live life by a code will struggle with going against it. Yes some can do it and there is evidence of it all around us but that doesn't mean everybody can sell their soul so to speak.

First game jitters probably. My comment was meant to be more general in nature.

I agree on the TOs but the fouls also bothered me. High foul numbers are often the result of lazy defense. Coach has enough on the film to keep him busy. The other problem with the 3pt shooting is at the end of the game in a blowout is being done by the bench.

I am sure we have lost buy games also in the past. I am not apologizing for Fordham just pointing out that happens. Now long term the A10 probably needs to have a discussion on their entire Conference direction.
