3star_recruit
If we get upset at home, upset someone on the road ) and win all the other games we're favored in, 10-6 is not an unrealistic goal in conference play.
Schasz
I was kind of looking at the games that Reggie and Ian will miss. We should be able to win the first 3 without Reggie and Ian; however, I see at least 5 of the first 10 games that Ian's presence will be missed. slu72
missing 3 games. He sat out last year. Something I missed?
NashvilleBilliken
Apparently Reggie has to sit out three games due to the phone card scandal at Nova last year. He sat out last year due to transfer rules.
slu72
it's always something. Let's see use a phone card and you lose three games. Choke and kidnap your girlfriend you get a one game suspension. Geez, where is the sanity in all this?
BillikenTX
Without a doubt the toughest stretch of games will be the last game of January til Feb 21. @UAB @Memphis vs Depaul vs Charlotte vs Marquette I think UAB might be able to sneak into the top 4 teams in CUSA with Cincy falling back last yr and I don't know what they have added in recruiting/transfers to make them a better team. billiken_roy
i hope you are not suggesting that cincy will not be an elite team this year. imo, cincy will be the top team in the league. huggy has assembled quite the team with the few additions of "true student athletes" like white and whaley to go along with the returning players. BillikenTX
I never said Cincy would not be an elite team, I just think UAB's stock is rising. We all know talent alone does not win championships, we will see how well that group of STUDENT athletes play together and if one basketball will be enough on offense. billiken_roy
i am a big fan of the rising uab team. i was extremely impressed with their "40 minutes of hell" approach they showed at the cusa tourney. imo, had the tourney not been at crazy freedom hall, they would have won the tourney. but that said, cincy will have as good of athletes and bigger athletes and a p.o'd head coach from the disappointing season they had last year. i dont like huggins, and i dont like his methods both on the court and off, but i respect the results he gets as a winning basketball coach. he knows how to win. TheA_Bomb
YES! I like this schedule I will be able to make it to the first Conference Game @TCU (if Uncle Sam lets me). Ft. Worth is a 2 1/2 hr. drive from my house. I am excited about that I almost went to a women's soccer game there last year to see SLU women soccer. (how about that Billikenrich?) Billiken Rich
I salute your service to the greatest country on the face of this earth! That said, unforfortunatly there is no provision in the GI Bill for getting a life. If you're going out of your way for a soccer game (much less a women's soccer game) you could certainly use one. GO Bills!
