SLUAvtr
Tommie is the man! That was awsome to give his dad props for his B-Day. What a guy, thank you Liddell family! Good win, though sloppy, great to see EVERYONE involved, including JJ! GO BILLS! LOL, still laughing from Tommie's props.........
pakapablo
That was cool to mention his dad's bday. I think there were more SLU tv viewers than actual attendees. That place was a ghost town.
cheeseman
I would hope there were more than 300 people watching the game on TV. If that is all there was then why would Charter waste their time broadcasting it. My guess is there are several thousands who watch the game. slu72
games probably pull in more than 300. Whew, talk about a program in trouble...that's got to be a record low for a Div 1 NCAA game. Even Mizzery doesn't draw that bad.
willie
Bernie on his morning radio show said the A10 should get rid of a couple of the bottom teams such as Duquesne. I agree.
Box and Won
The "official" attendance was a little over 1,100.
billiken_roy
danny nee is the definition of a burned out coach. while that team was pitiful, they lacked any game plan other than get it to mcalister and let him try to score or get fouled. and defensively was just horrible. it actually is sad we only scored 70 points imo. if duquesne and st bonnie were out of this league, imo this would be a nice conference and likely would rise a couple of spots in the conference rpi rankings. ACE
That was the smallest crowd I've ever seen. Considering their best player graduates after this year, I would say they have a lot of rebuilding to do.
billikenmetz
I think a lot of the Dukes fans were still attending Steeler SuperBowl parades.
Box and Won
I agree - last night might has well have been a buy game.
cheeseman
They might have sold or given away 1100 tickets but I can assure you there was probably not even 300 at the game.
cheeseman
How does voting a team out of a conference work? Do you send Gary Link to visit with them and tell them they are going to be dumped unless they ask to drop so they can at least get a little money out of it? Seriously, can a conference drop a team without their agreeing?
Box and Won
That's what I was thinking. You probably could have counted the people in the stands.
Billiken Rich
Gary Link? LOL!
willie
Rich are you serious? Have you been living under a rock?
Billiken Rich
Not under a rock. I just think it's hilarious that anyone would use Gary Link as a broadcaster, go between, conduit, you name it. He's a pathetic yes man as a broadcaster so I guess he's loyal...........
