Lord Elrond
Liked your latest podcast, good job as per usual. It would be interesting if you could get the new SLU women’s associate head coach to give some insight on what’s going on at the University of Wyoming. Not only has another head coach at a sport there agreed to take an assistant job elsewhere as you said on the podcast, but I believe Colleen Corbin’s husband was also on the AD staff at Wyoming as the Director of Event Management and Game Operations, and he quit that to move with her to St Louis per reports. If she won’t say anything about that, then it might be interesting to hear from her anyway. Keep up the good work, I blame you two for getting me addicted to Two Men and a Garden Salsa, but I doubt you feel guilty about that. It's a tough time of the year for listener retention, we hadn't really considered having Corbin on the pod. You mentioned it in your post, but I just don't think she would go on record regarding anything at Wyoming. I do think it would be interesting to hear what goes into a decision like leaving a head coaching position for an Associate HC position. Corbin is the most interesting new hire outside of the MBB staff, so if you did an interview with her that would be interesting, even if she dint want to talk about what’s going on in Wyoming. It might also make an interesting interview if you were able to get Corey Tate on the show for a behind the scenes glimpse on Men’s BB last season, and the coming one. billikenfan05 likes this
BuiltFordBills
Great work on the episode as always! One small note is Julia Martinez is actually an Athletic Training major graduate, it is a 5 year masters program which worked out well with the extra COVID year for her and for Brooke Flowers last year. Here’s a recent post about her post graduate plans: https://www.instagram.com/p/C67JKFmvgVA/?igsh=MW5lMWl3cjd6cjdvcw== Also interested to hear about this Trilly story involving Kobe Johnson!
