brianstl Posted February 25 Posted February 25 It is nice to see a healthy Josh Sargent playing the best soccer of his career right now. HoosierPal 1 Quote
slufanskip Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Tim Ream and Patrick Schulte both on USMNT Nations League roster plus Josh Sargent from St. Louis. 3 players from St Louis. Pretty impressive Billikenbooster and Lord Elrond 2 Quote
HoosierPal Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Author Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Diego Luna was the only USMNT player who cared today against Canada. Send the rest of them back to Europe in Economy class. Josh Sargent hasn't scored a goal for the USMNT in his past 18 appearances. He did not get off the bench in today's match. Quote

Maybe it wasn’t the coach? Maybe these players don’t care? I’d rather have a team full of players that want to win than this. Quote

Look no further than Weah getting sent off in Copa America, essentially knocking us out of the tournament. Then he immediately regains his place the second he is eligible. As @HoosierPal said, Sargent hasn’t scored for the national team since ‘Nam. Playing for the national team is a privilege, if the team isn’t gonna perform they should call up players that will. There’s no shortage of talented MLS youngsters who would kill for the chance. Quote
