I know offense gets all the eyes, but the defense has been the big improvement over the last 4 games.  We need to keep that going against stiffer competition.

I agree.

Later today I will be posting the new report card in the LaSalle spread thread.  This is the first time since after the Evansville game (game 2) that we will have a "clean" report card....no Ds or Fs.   The one glaring weakness all season  has been giving up too many points per game.

If you want to do well in the A-10...if you want to Dance...if you want to win...you need to have a balanced report card...i.e. no weaknesses. We have turned a major corner....we haven't arrived yet but if we can stay at this level ...things will be looking good.

The Wiz,

Let’s say that us, VCU, and SVU all wind up 15-3 with the only remaining losses being road losses to each other. For the sake of discussion, let’s assume that the factors currently affecting the three team’s NET remain the same. In that scenario, what’s the likelihood of the A-10 becoming a 2-bid league?

VCU already won their road game against Dayton

Oh well. So, we need VCU to lose at home to Dayton for the 15-3 scenario to happen.

Rather than use that scenario...let's just say the A-10 could be a 2 bid conference.

But it didn’t hit 50% so one-bid league, right? 🤓

Right now we are a 1 bid conference....The computer is showing the best chance right now for 2 bids is whoever wins the conference tourney AND whoever finishes 2nd in the tourney.  Right now that 2nd team would have about a 50% Chance to Dance. It is very important to finish in the top 4 of the A10 standings.

At NET 64, the Flyers can see the back side of the bubble for At Large consideration.  They are one zip code away.  (They lost 2 places yesterday by not playing.)  The 'magic number' [not a solid line] is somewhere around NET 45. {Example, Syracuse at 108 will use their Boeheim card to get a bid....it's automatic.  NCAA can't hold a tourney without Jim Boeheim in it....it's written in the rules.}

VCU is at 84 and SLU at 86.
