BrettJollyComedyHour
Crazy win tonight for the women. Beat Mason at Mason by 23 and held them to 35 points, again with a short bench (although I think they had 7 or 8 players this time).
thetorch
Solid win for the Billikens. Granted George Mason is terrible but holding any team to 35 points is an accomplishment. Good to hear Brooke Flowers is coming back for another season. Last night she overtook Sadie Stiponavich for 2nd all time in rebounds. She is now 3rd in the country for blocks after she tallied a career high 7 last night. Ciaja is back as well. She had 12 points in the win. All 3 returning I hope would put WBB back near the top of the A10 assuming they are able to avoid the terrible injury woes of this season. Brooke is likely to put the career rebounding & block totals beyond what anyone else could ever reach. She already has the career blocks record at 253 career blocks which is 36 more than 2nd place. Assuming health she'll likely put herself 100+ blocks ahead of 2nd place by the end of next season. She is 2nd all time in rebounds with 902. Arlene Lampe is #1 with 1,000. Brooke should pass her early next season & finish with 100+ more rebounds than her. She should also reach 1,000 career points next season. Ciaja would blow away the career scoring mark if she comes back. She's already 2nd all-time in points with 1,662 & would likely blow past Jackie Kemph's 1,894 to finish with well over 2,000. If you think that would deserve an asterisk, she'll also likely finish with a higher PPG average than Kemph. She's at 16.0 now and Kemph was 14.3 career. She's currently 3rd in FTs made behind Jackie's 490 & Theresa Lisch's 405 with 352. Probably won't catch Jackie, but should finish 2nd. Similarly won't catch Jackie in assists, but likely has a shot at 2nd & will for sure be 3rd. Has a shot at besting Jamesia Price's 202 career steals. She's at 154 right now. billikenbill likes this

Pistol
Reminder that the women have a first-round A10 Tournament game this afternoon: It's been a brutal season for them with injuries but it would be fun to steal a couple wins this week. GMU played out of their minds and we played our game, but playing out of your mind always beats playing another's game. Taj79
Kind of odd to be playing at the University of Delaware???? Wait, that's in Newark. Where was this held. Just curious.
thetorch
Chase Fieldhouse, Wilmington Del. The 76ers G league team plays there. The A10 just makes ridiculously silly moves. This is worse than the mens tourney in Newport News. BrettJollyComedyHour likes this

I was at the game and the natural light through the windows was pretty cool. I agree about the location, there's very little around to see or do outside of Philly.
