For-DaLove
Texas A&M enters SEC play 10-3 with an RPI in the mid 60's. They're currently leading Arkansas by 18 on ESPNU. New Mexico is playin top 25 UNLV on CBS Sports Network. They lead by 2 late in the 1st half.
For-DaLove
It would be nice if A&M could move their RPI into the top
GOSLU68
Isn't Santa Clara projected to come in second in their league?
For-DaLove
They should definitely finish in the top 3. Gonzaga is probably the favorite at this point, and they beat Santa Clara by 7 the other day. SC is currently 12-4 with an RPI of 58. So that's certainly not a bad loss. kshoe
It would be nice if A&M could move their RPI into the top 50 While tonight is a really nice win for A&M, I'd be shocked if they can end the season in the top 50. According to RPI Predictor they'll have to finish 11-7 in the SEC to have an RPI right at 50. http://www.rpiforecast.com/teams/Texas%20A&M.html
For-DaLove
KShoe - Sorry, my quote function is still messed up. You're right, it won't be easy. But the SEC is way down this year so it's definitely possible.
dlarry
I dont know how A & Ms schedule plays out but unless they have to play FL KY MU all twice they could very easily go 11-
For-DaLove
Their schedule shapes up well. They face Kentucky twice, but they're beatable. They only face Florida and Missouri once, both at home.
SShoe
New Mexico and UNLV are currently tied in the second half. I think I just saw AlphaOne get ejected from the game for pushing one of the UNLV players.
jbizzle09
Valpo won tonight as well. They are now 12-5 and have a good chance to finish with 20+ wins and a top 100 RPI.
moytoy12
Nice o-board by UNM on a missed free throw with 30 seconds left.
moytoy12
UNM up 3 with 25 sec left. UNLV ball. if you are UNM, you gotta foul if the clock gets to 5 or so seconds, right ?
For-DaLove
New Mexico wins 65-60. Poor rebounding and erratic play at the end doomed UNLV. NM tried pissing it away at the free throw line, but UNLV couldn't capitalize.
billikens747
Bad stretch of basketball by UNLV in the final minute. Lost every 50/50 ball, poor execution. UNM got lucky, but good for us.
JohnnyJumpUp
Washington up 14 halfway through the second half at California. Cal is a 5.5 favorite.
SpartanBilliken
Wash up 16 points wit about 2 mins left. That should help
The Wiz
As a resukt of last night's games the Bills have moved up to A-. The biggest help was UW. Their win boosts them to B. This means our worst loss is to a B team. I will take that at this point. UNM also moved up to A-. While I had them beating UNLV(the Pit advantage) it was still a good win. The test will be when they leave the Pit to play SanDSt and Wyo. A nice win for TAMU which boosts them to a B-. They are a good team that will finish 5th-9th in the SEC. KU came in close to target (I had them by 11) So even though they had to go to OT ...no change,,,btw ISU is an A team. Nice win too for Butler although they remain at B+. I guess I am not on the Butler bandwagon yet. (sorry Irishdawg...at least dlarry will be happy). It was projected to be a close game and it was ... a little help but not enough to move them up. I was rooting for SIU....that would have helped us as much as the UW win but the Salukis just didn't have enough. Of course this will all be moot if we don't win tomight. The Bills need to take care of business which I think they will.
JettFlight5
Washington win is nice against a favored opponent. UNM helped out too. Now it's our turn to help our own profile.
