STL Hoops Insider
Have there ever been 3 local players from the same high school class all ended up being draftd in the first round, and if so, has there ever been a time when all 3 players wound up being lottery picks. From the class of 2011, Beal was already drafted no. 3. McLemore is in most people's top 10 for the 2013 drafts, and there are a lot of people expecting BJ Young to be a mid round pick whenever he comes out. Has it ever happened before? majerus mojo
When the Rams move to LA and the NHL folds forever, the Lou should look into bringing the NBA back.

I believe you are correct this would be the first time this happened and it would be the best year for multiple pros from the area ever. these are the only ones that come close. 49-50 Earl Dodd Wood River HS 5th round, Ed Macauley SLUH 1st round, Mike Todorovich, Soldan, undrafted 61-62 Bevo Nordmann, SLUH, 3rd Round, Dick Eichorst, Hancock, undrafted 67-68 Leary Lentz, Cahokia, undrafted, Bill Garner, East STL, actually drafted in 62 didn't play pro till 68, Donnie Freeman, Madison, ABA undrafted, Bobby Wilson, Hadley tech, ABA undrafted, Lester Selvage, Beaumont, ABA undrafted, Bill Bradley, Crystal City, NBA 65 Territorial Pick, Matt Aitch, Maplewood, NBA 13th round 69-70 Lee WInfield, Sumner, 3rd Round, Jo Jo White, Mckinley, 1st round 69-70 would be the closest. Winfield was the 32nd pick overall and a longtime pro, Jo Jo White is as close to being a HOFer as you can get without actually being one. Pirahna
When the Rams move to LA and the NHL folds forever, the Lou should look into bringing the NBA back. No. San Diago will move to LA. The Rams are heading to San Antonio. The Bills to Toronto. The Jags to who cares (maybe London). You heard it here first!
Taj79
Easy answer --- no. In a previous lifetime, I argued St. Louis was notoriously weak historically as basketball development area. This is further proof of that.
JMM28
Proviso East in the Chicago area had Michael Finley, Donnie Boyce, and Sherrell Ford picked in the same draft although I believe Boyce was picked early 2nd round. I am sure there are examples of this, especially with the prep schools and basketball factories out there.
STL Hoops Insider
Outstanding research Torch. Right now in the NBA from St. Louis you have David Lee (Golden State), Brad Beal (Washington DC), Blake Ahearn (Indiana) and Josh Harrellson (Miami) I'm not sure if Ahearn and Harrellson are on guaranteed deals. McLemore is likely the next one to join this list barring something unforseen. Young is on a lot of mock drafts and his stock is rising. It will be interesting to see how Cameron Biedscheid transitions to college.
ACE
Jahidi White, Loren Woods and Chris Carrawell were on the same team, but different classes. The first two played in the league. Carrawell was drafted, but didn't make it.

STL Hoops Insider
Nick, Im not sure about this yr yet, but they finished 2nd in their conference last yr and performed well enough to have an All American and have their coach win Coach of the Year in the conference
