HUskies can and will score on the Bills. Let s try and get back to b-ball your other posts are creeping me out. Basketball related........... hoodhusky
on a basketball note at least 10 NBA scouts have been credentialed for this game and its a pretty safe bet that they are not in town to see ANYBODY on st. louis. UDUB is easily one of the top 5 most talented teams in the country( gaddy-ross-wroten-wilcox and maybe even aziz future pros) with that being said i'm not sold on romars x's and o's, his player development is second to none but strategy wise i think he misses the boat some. the only way the dawgs loose is if they cant adjust to the start time, if they can adjust then i see a dawgs win by at least ten. s

I want to talk ###### but you guys are just too ludicrous.
slufan13
Washington is extremely talented. I completely agree that they are top 10 in the country talent-wise. Vandy is top 10. They lost to Cleveland State at home. Pitt is top 10. They lost to Long Beach State at home. I like to think that SLU is better or at least equal to those teams and we get to play this game at home. Portland Tops Huskies, 80-74 No. 21 Huskies Surprised by Texas A&M in Final Seconds, 63-62 Just because the Bills were 12-19 last year doesn't mean they're a pushover this season. I expect the Billikens to win tomorrow.
jbizzle09
All I know is that after tomorrow's game, Romar and Co. is going to be squealing from the feeling, squeeking from the freaking and oinking from the boinking!
Dawg4Life
I completely agree that an upset is possible. I am surprised the UDub is not a heavy favorite. I think that is because they have only been on TV once and that was a local broadcast. The national media and scouts have not seen them play. They have a history of losing the games they should win, especially on the road. So anything is possible. That is why we don't let Vegas determine the outcome. IMO based on what I have seen in the first three games this UW team is more talented than any we have had in the recent past. I was not impressed with last years team which relied on MBA and Isaah Thomas. The year before it was dependence on John Brockman. In recent years they never seemed to have more than two 'stars' that were carrying the team. This group does not seem to have any players that are above the rest. They all look like terrific athletes with the confidence to carry the team. The problem may be determining who gets the ball with the game on the line. youjustgotKMed
This game is going to be close i know it, neither team will allow themselves to get down by more then 10-15, i hope we can slow down the dogs pace, also hope we get rid of all 1000 student tickets because last game we did not, SLU 74 WU -
slu72
We play some of the best perimeter D in the country. It looks like UW shoots it pretty well from out there, so shutting them down from out there may well be the key. That and we can't suffer any of those friggin' 7-8 minute scoring droughts. The Wiz
I am not sure what all the smack talk is about. If we win this game it would not be an upset. These two teams are even going in. It would only be an upset in the minds of a few fans with limited basketball knowledge. This would be a quality win (for either team) and this is the best competition either team has played so far. Also not sure what all this top 10 UW talk is about. Last I checked, the only 2 top 25 PAC12 teams listed in the polls were AZ and CAL. Rather than smack talking us, it seems like they should worry about winning their own conference. As for the Bills, this would be a good win to get but we will see better opponents (e.g....13th ranked Xavier) Well, I am off to SEE the game live as opposed to talking about it on the board. Go Bills.
ACE
This will be a tough game. I am very doubtful the Bills can play for 40 minutes with UW. We just don't have the size or the athleticism. However, IF we slow it down dramatically, we may have a shot. I really respect Romar and am very happy that he is doing well at UW...I just hope he does NOT have a happy flight on Sunday.' Can we finally stop with that stuff. It is so 2005. Their collection of 6-5/6-6 guys were extremely athletic and hopefully a kid like Drew will give us that element in the future, but our collection of guards are as quick as any. KM and MM were the quickest players on the floor. Jett is so physical and frustrated the hell out of them with his defense. Mitchell absolutely destroyed Gaddy. We have some size and some athleticism. Enjoy.
b.hayes
Conklin is going to set a bone-crunching screen on Arturo Gaddy before the first media timeout. By halftime, Lorenzo will have surrendered. If Conklin had gotten his screen out of the way a little earlier, this might have been true.
