aj_arete
Was it turnovers?
moytoy12
Good SIU D/poor shot selection, missed FT's and a turnover that led to a SIU fastbreak.
Billikan
If we can hit the free throws we will be leading and the turnovers have hurt us. Ramsey has always frustrated me and his call of this game is just ridiculous. I think he is trying to get another job and be does not want to ever be identified as a supporter of the Bills so he is actually more enthusastic when the other team scores or steals the ball. I was listening to him on KFNS the other day and a caller commented favorably about Billikan basketball and how it was really the best sports story in town, Ramsey went out of his way to comment favorably about SIU and MSU and the Valley. I wanted to punch the radio. Is he looking for a job with the Valley. Everything I hear would suggest that he is.
SluSignGuy
That was a great JJ interview at the half....
Billiphan
>Good SIU D/poor shot selection, missed FT's and a turnover >that led to a SIU fastbreak. It sounds like offensive rebounds are killing us as well. Got to protect the boards.

Quickdraw
I agree, Steve. Justin sounds like a pretty smart guy.
kshoe
going to be hard to make up a 10 point defecit against this defense
moytoy12
Gotta be honest, and i haven't seen him play much this year, but i'm not impressed with IV. I certainly haven't seen anything that is NBA-worthy and he seems to be a good, but not great, college player.
slu72
We've got to take it to 'em. I don't know why IV is not more involved in the offense. Now we're having way to many TO's.
moytoy12
We need to work on layups in traffic, meyer especially...and just as i say that.
TheA_Bomb
I would like for him to make the NBA but I prefer for SLU to win. I like the multiple double doubles he has had. Now come on SLU get it going.
moytoy12
Against stiffer competition where has he been (outside of 2 ft's at the end of loyola)?
slu72
How the hell can we be missing so many layups....also when is this offense going to go through IV. The only way they can stop him is to foul him.
Billikan
It sounds like the refs are really favoring the Salukis--can anyone who is watching confirm that?
kshoe
missing those two FTs hurts...
TheA_Bomb
Ramsey's fatalistic view of SLU's comeback ability always p!sses me off. It would take a miracle for SLU to comeback w/ 14min left? Down 13?
moytoy12
No, the refs have had some ticky tack foul calls (both ways), but it has not affected the score in a dramatic way.
slu72
Missed Ft's, TO's, nothing from IV so far, missed layups, can't blame that on the refs.
billikenfan05
WTF is wrong with kevin "I was on fire, I was hotter than a pistol" Jason McElwaine If theres no SLU basketball in heaven I'm not going!!!!!! aj_arete
Road teams aren't supposed to get them, especially in environments where the home team is supported. This is one of the reasons why it's TOUGH to win on the road.
