SLUWX
Not only was the miracle in Memphis the highlight of SLU basketball history, but also a highlight for CUSA and College Basketball in general. Never before has SLU had that kind of press for that long.

I would disagree a bit on your last statement. I think it was `94, I think we were the last undefeated team in the country and cracked the Top 25. There were a bunch of national stories including SI on the Spoonball.

Billiken Rich
I wasn't at the tourney in Memphis and My dad was about five when the bills won the NIT in 48. The atmosphere was great if only for one game in Savvis. My son and I were screaming like maniacs. It was the best sports experience of my life. Second was probably beating MU. Third was beating Kansas. Fourth the last Cowboy Superbowl win--whenever the heck that was.....
willie
Beating Minnesota in Baltimore. What a weekend.
SaintLouisAlum
Beating Kansas on national TV at home was great. Beating Illinois before about a million people was nice. Beating Missouri at the Dome also was fairly pleasant. I also like Ricky Clemons beating......never mind, that was not a Billiken moment
Billiken75
Winning down at SIU with Larry Hughes - SIU was up by 14 with 5:00 to play and Larry took over the game. We ended up winning by 8 pts (I believe) and the crowd was just stunned. It was worth sitting in the bleachers behind the basket to see Larry come of age. Mobile-iken
We've had some great moments since the tournament win in Memphis. In addition to the Louisville game, how about the double OT win at home against Tulane, or when Perry went coast to coast in Chicago to beat DePaul at the buzzer? Or, my personal favorite, beating Houston last year when we were down by what, 11, with less than 2 minutes remaining and we won?
