G League Training Camp Rosters - Perkins and Collins

First link is the training camp roster for the College Park Skyhawks. https://cpskyhawks.gleague.nba.com/roster

Typically a G League team will have 10 on the roster with additional room for the three players from the home team on two way contracts.  Teams at time get creative with their rosters. For the Skyhawks, those three are Forrest, Lundy and Norris.  Draw a line through them and you are left with 13 for 10 spots.  The Skyhawks begin play Nov 12, so we will know Perkins status in the next week or so.

Quinones, Robinson and Garuba are their two way contract players.  Trace Jackson-Davis is listed on their roster, but he has a full guaranteed contract with the Warriors. Likely the Warriors will move him back and forth between the two squads, but he doesn't have the limitations that a 2 way player has.   The SC Warriors open up Nov 10, so Collins status will be known earlier than Perkins.

Brandin Podziemski is also listed on the SC Warriors roster, but has a full guaranteed contract with the Warriors.

According the G League Transactions, Perkins was waived on Nov 5.  (Second page.)

Thanks for the follow-up. Not sure if he will get interest from another G League team. Maybe he should head to Europe or Australia if he wants to play pro ball?  Do well ther and you might increase your chances of making it on an NBA roster?

G league draft picks rarely make their rosters.

Europe and Australia will be calling. He should have no shortage of options.

The Santa Cruz Warriors made several roster transactions, and appear for now to have their 13 (plus one).  This includes Collins.  14 are on the list, but the Warriors have already called up Santos, who does have a guaranteed contract and is not a two way player.  G League rosters are by nature fluid.
