A fellow member of the morning coffee group, a former Cal player who suited up against the mighty UCLA Bruins in their glory years, was at the Meet and Greet for Coach Madsen yesterday in Berkeley. I remember my dad taking me to the 1993 regionals at the beautiful Arena when I was a kid. Got to see Kidd and Cal take on Kansas while Calbert Cheney’s Hoosiers took on Crum’s Cardinals.
