HoosierPal
Seven minutes of Billiken Talk. Rammer says Perkin's injury was a torn ACL, MCL and bone fractures. If he can be back to 100% by Conference, that may be the goal. It may take Perkins 18 months to fully recover. He will need to gain confidence in his leg. Temper expectations. Play Great Late - Perkins' legacy. Letting Perkins work his way back into game shape will allow some of the new players to get minutes in the OOC. The Bills are in on X Pinson and a big Euro. There is still a lot of roster movement that will happen over the next two months. Unsure on what Nesbitt will do. 3star_recruit
Realistically, Perkins won't be ready to close games in the nonconference. We'll still need to rely on Yurimania and the combo guard to be named later. Pinson, if he's willing to accept 20 min a game, is a good fit for our combo guard role. Pinson could be a perfect fit for this team. Big enough to play the 1 or 2 offensively or defensively. So Gibson can play the 2-3. Thatch the 3-4. Hargrove 4. Nesbitt (are you there) 2-4. It really would be a home run pickup.
Schasz
Heard a rumor that Pinson could be heading back to Mizzou, and with a new HC guess that could be possible. Think he's better than a 20 minute a game player.

Taj79
Gates is from Chicago. Pinson is from Chicago. That might be enough. At Mizzou, Pinson is the main man at point guard. He's not coming to back up Yuri. billiken_roy likes this

If he ever looks at his own assist to turnover ratio, he might think that he would be better off backing up Yuri and playing the 2 more. It might mask his short comings if he wants to pursue a pro career. If he can focus on getting it up to a 3:1, instead of 1:1, then the pros might think he can be a point guard at the next level.
