(I noted that Randy Karraker was in studio all night but was not asked to participate in the SLU discussion.) They said that Biondi and Majerus talked for a very long time on Saturday and supposedly got along well. Majerus has provided his list of demands, and the ball is 100% in Biondi's court. They specifically referenced the charter v. commercial flights and the assistant coaches' salaries. All three agreed that the enormous negative press Biondi has received of late may add some extra incentive for him to adhere to Marjerus's demands in order to hit the "home run" and therefore quiet the critics. Meanwhile, on Fox 2 Bob Ramsey mentioned that all candidates will be tracking all of the stories and rumors on the Internet via message boards and blogs. billiken_roy Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 it was obvious that coach thorpe is the main link to the players and he is the one that appears to be involved with the most current recruiting. keeping coach thorpe is a nice transition move considering you are building on a team that has increased their win total two consecutive seasons.
