  1. orangehater - you let them suck you in to their mindless dribble. Let me correct what this proud Bonaventure fan posted; This Bonas team isn't any good and their record shows it, they have played nobody good as pointed out by taj79, Because Otterville is located North of the North Pole Bonaventure can't recruit the Bonnies have no 3 pt shooters' their 7 footer from Senegal has the mobility of and iceberg, No one does more with less than Mark Schmidt, the poor guy doesn't even get payed. BUT, I DO REMEMBER WHEN TYLER RELPH DROPPED 3's FROM ALL OVER THE COURT TO BEAT THE GILLIANS (Now are you happy slufan13?)
  2. oh man, you guys are too funny, your a riot ! You Jesuits are just too much for us small time Franciscans! May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all.
  3. Estero, Florida is also called the " Western New York of Florida ". 453 of those in attendance were either Bonnie Alum or Olean snow birds. The Brown Indians will be in St Louis early (Jan 15) and will give the Billies all they can handle. You have a good team this year but, also the A10 is much better than anyone expects. Bonnie on the War Path
  4. SLU played to an obviously frustrating 2-2 loss with St. Bonaventure (7-6-2) up in Hay Seed Hollow. The Brown Indians won the game ( yes, it was a sweet win ) late in the second half. The 2-2 draw was as good as a Win the the young Braves who also, beat Dayton in Dayton 1-0. SLU has a very strong team and most likely will win the A10.
  5. Jeez I feel left out. Ya we're gunna stink again this year. Half the team will be new players and the other half, well lets just say they're great kids that might just surprise the A10 come play-offs. The Bonnies play in SLouie this season. Always fun ride home sneaking out with a "W". The Bonaventure Coaches learned a lot from your Coach and RicMA on how to prepare for away games. While in Olean this year they came two days early and was filled with films, meetings and relaxing at the Hotel - heated swimming pool, spa and plenty of good food! I think that is the reason you beat us. Pay backs are always a *****.
  6. Congrats on Reggie. As you know he is from Buffalo Area with strong, strong ties to Olean - friends and relatives - and at Coach Schmitt's Summer Camp. He and Grady Glaze will be a force in the middle. I wouldn't expect much in his Freshman year but, will come on strong later. Bottom line " great kid, very nice and will become a force in the middle for the Billikens. Brown Indians live on !
  7. "Have you heard of Olean, NY? Also, do you like gladiator movies?" Where do I start? First congrats on signing the BIG kid out of Buffalo - giv'um a year or two and him and Grady Glaze will be a force under the basket. The young man is just a very nice and great kid and it is a steal for the Billikens. O L E A N, NEW YORK. ie "Little Chicago" . Brown Indians forever.
  8. A-10 Champs. I think that this Billiken team can Dance allll the way back to St Louis with the big one!
  9. Pistol, got to watch him up close and I have nothing good to say about him, ya the forearm, grabbing the jersey, talks a lot on the court, he's a little piss ant wise a$$. I fact I don't think he even pass a Welding Class !!
  10. McCall had a GREAT game. Jett in the first half was the spark and it carried all the way through. He does a lot on the floor that goes unnoticed sort of the unsung hero. Butler was #14 but by the time they go to NYC they could lose two mor game and maybe three which in turn keeps the Billkens on top of the League. A SLU Final Four or winning it all just proves RICKMA LIVES ON !
  11. Great Game, Great Win, I watched the entire game MVP was Jett, The team on the floor last night is a Final Four team. And ya know if win it all, you will make the A-10 proud! Heck, we might just even let you stay in the A-10 Conference !
  12. Nice win but, a more appropriate tune for the SLU band to play would be; Pistol, Taj and SLU72 see you in Brooklyn.
  13. pistol, nice honest write up thanks. Both teams had a very bad day with the Officials, not that it would have made any difference. What did you think?
  14. Oh Yaaa looks as if I called that one right ! "This years Bonnie team has lost its MoJo. I wouldn't put anything into the fact they just beat Temple and St Joes in Philly. Neither one are up to their old standard of play. With the Bonnies now way over confident and SLU well rested - well feed and comfortable in Olean they should win by 20-26 points. Unless you can't make your 3's and have no down low inside game, then the outcome might change." So you won. Fact is your team is NOT that good (neither is Bonas). And to the Alumni Fans Your Billiegoats anit goin nowhere. You won't win the the A10 - you might go to the NIT or the other one. The smartest thing your team done was to come to Olean 3 days early - rest up - eat good - and win. I have never wanted your University in our Conference. After all the Childish remarks by the Alumni about "NEVER" coming back to The Enchanted Mountains, I pray that you stay in the Atlantic 10 forever! I want you and your team coming here spending money and paying the local taxes - it sure helps and we need all the help we can get. BROWN INDIANS FOREVER <@>
  15. " I'll be the one who isn't hanging on to the good ol' racist days." Care to explain ? Thanks
  16. Hey Pistol thanks for the info. You have been personally mean to the Brown Indian Nation over the years and now your going to venture your Kester in our neck of the woods ?? You'll be happy to know this is were men are men and sheep run scared ! Don't drive back after the game, you'll miss the Cow Chip Bingo at the Fire Hall in Allegany. (Welders get two extra cards free) Thank you coming.... You just might want to stay the night due to changing weather. The Billkens team is staying at the Country Inn & Suites (no joke) right across from the University. PLEASE DRIVE SAFE. BROWN INDIANS
  17. Aloha Billikens! The Atlantic 10 Champions and Keepers of the Western Gate come in peace ! Great win in over that mighty Parochial school power house in Pittsburg. Word has it that after the Dukane game the Billikens snuck into Ottervillle under the cover of darkness and 5 below zero! They are safe and at a secret undisclosed location. This little trick out of the Dayton play-book isn't going to work. They are being well fed, tonight's dinner was the Moo-shu Muskrat with Kung-pao noodles (tastes just like chicken) - breakfast, lunch, dinner these boys are going to be in hog heaven! Plus RickMa's favorite "Beef on Wik" (we use road kill Deer, it tastes the same) On top of that they're getting those free Chocolate Chip cookies, heated swimming pool and a jacuzzie - hell they'll never what to go back to gang land. This years Bonnie team has lost its MoJo. I wouldn't put anything into the fact they just beat Temple and St Joes in Philly. Neither one are up to their old standard of play. With the Bonnies now way over confident and SLU well rested - well feed and comfortable in Olean they should win by 20-26 points. Unless you can't make your 3's and have no down low inside game, then the outcome might change. BROWN INDIANS FOREVER
  18. Closet Bonnie fans !!!!! WOW .....
  19. Hate to see you guys go. I always penciled in a "W" when we are going to play you. East coast and West coast look at St Louis is like the Red headed Step-child. That's why you wont go BE7 Maybe they could have a Large Catholic East, Central and West. With SLU, X, Marq, DePaul etc in the Central.
  20. Dennis Rodman, yes, that Rodman! Bottom line is was a great NBA player and he knows the game. Probably could get him cheap. And, I am sure that when he would go and visit recruits he would have their attention. Also, great for drawing fans to games!
  21. Jimmy " Midnight Jimmy " Baron. Could bring him in at half the salary of a normal Coach !
  22. This season looks like last season. http://www.atlantic10.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/031112aaa.html
  23. As long as he has a welders Degree sign him up !
  24. So deeply sad. May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with her, family and friends. Below is story out of local paper. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/suspects-captured-death-st-louis-university-volleyball-player-article-1.1143529 Living here in Otterville we only hear about violent crimes in the big Cities. Worst here is shop-lifting at Wal-Mart and egging houses.
  25. we'll see who's cutting down the nets in March 2013. Ending the season on top of the Conference doesn't mean much. The Play-offs seems to divide the men from the boys in this League and with VCU and Butler in the mix its all up for grabs.
