For a mother of a college studnet Im not sure. But for men above the age of 18 I hear there will be a lot of hot college tail running around Columbus that weekend.

I get that you dont agree with it and to be honest Im not sold on any of the computer ranking either. But at least the computer ranking and guys like the Wiz have a system. The coaches poll? The coaches poll is a joke. They dont even watch most of the games. And they sure as hell havent seen many teams outside their own schedule. Ive heard more than once that a lot of coaches hand the sheets to a manager or AD guy and say "have fun." There is no perfect system but all the Coaches polls and AP polls do are take the biggest names, throw them into a hat, and start picking teams.

Those are pretty nice but Kwamain Mitchell is up for two handed chest pass of the year. Dewayne Evans is up for finger role of the year. Kyle Cassity is up for fundamentaly sound bounce pass of the year.

Its hard enough for us to find live games on TV. Not quite sure where you would find a taped one.

No post have been personal attacks or over the line, just good natured back and forth. What do you want us to do? Kiss the opponents ass and talk about how much better they are? I dont know if he has a degree but I always really liked Penny Hardaway. He was all types of exciting when healthy. Plus I enjoyed the Lil'Penny commercials. Interviewing Majerus would be a piece of cake. Just say "hello rick, How are you today?" Then you can turn off your mic, grab a snack, or go take a dump. He will fill all of the remaining time. Now if you are a producer and he was on your show that woudl be tough. Trying to cut him off to get to a commercial break would be brutal. I love hearing him on the radio but I always find his interviews funny because there isnt really a need to ask any questions.

That would piss me off too. KY is just to dang talented and athletic up and down the lineup UNC Henson and Zeller both 7 Feet and would give BC, CR, and RL fits, and Barnes...could luck with that match-up. DE I guess? Syracuse would actually be the team I would be the least worried about. But then again I have seen what zone defenses have done to SLU and not many teams can run it like syracuse As for the BCS vs mid majors debate. Im not going to get into that but I do wonder what the NCAA is thinking. WHat makes the tourney great and why it makes tons of money is because of the chance for upsets and cinderalls. Id much rather watch a 25-5 "mid major" get the invite than a 500 Iowa state or USF school. WHen those weak BCS schools get in they are always one or two and done. When a strong non-football school gets in there is a much greater chance of seeing them make a run. We have seen a lot of "mid majors" make sweet 16 and better type runs but I dont ever recall seeing a 500 BCS school make a long run.

You would think the "mid majors" tourney success the last few years would of helped to erase some of these misconceptions about "power conferences" vs "mid majors" but I guess not. Its a-holes like this that want to see all non football schools matched up in the first week so they knock each other out. Maybe Im wrong but in my experince people want to see the David vs Goliath matchups. They dont want to see David vs David. These matchup are what make the tourney so awesome. If it was up to guys like Jerry Palm the NCAA tournament would be made up of 10 teams every year Kansas Kentucky UCLA Duke UNC Indiana Ohio State Flordia MSU and a school from either California, Texas, or NY All he is intrested in is the name on the front of the jersey and has no desire to see the best possible basketball.

Ive never understood the entire "we have nothing to gain from it. It a lose lose situation. if we win we are supposed to if we lose its a bad loss" type arguments. Couldnt those same arguments be used when they play the Binghamptons of the world? Wouldnt a loss to one of these cupcakes they schedule be much more damaging? Burwell is right (it hurts to say that) it makes would make financial sense, it would be great for the fans, and it would generate a huge buzz for college basketball in the state of Missouri. I have always been a big Norm Stewart fan and I know how well respected he is by the Mizzou faithful. He was in favor of the match-up and I would think his thoughts would still carry a lot of weight with Mizzou fans and staff, but I guess not. From what I hear SLU is trying to be as accomodating as possible (2 for 1's, home and home plus KC and STL) its past time to make it happen. If Mizzou is as big time as they think they are a loss to a little A-10 school should'nt hurt them much and beating an A-10 school sure would look better than a victory over who gives a crap state.

As soon as the Bills took the lead in the second half it was over. Xavier basicaly had a panic attack and were never going to recover. They may be one of the most mentally weak teams in the land. Tons of talent, tons of capable bigs, but at this point I think they just want the season to end. They came out firing in the first half but the frist sign of adversity and they crumpled

You know the crowd is big time when you have brawls in the crowd. Raiders fans....consdiered some of the best Philly fans........considered the rowdiest Cub fans..........havent won in years but still sell out, get drunk, get loud, and fight NYG....great fans, have about one fight a game On a different note I was not in my normal section last night and their was two men with twh small children with them. The kids were probably about 2 and 4. At half I was heading to the John and the guy tells me "We are leaving at half if you know people looking to sit together" I declined and said "I guess these 8 PM starts are tough when you have little ones with you" his reply "It wouldnt matter to me but I had to beg the wife to let us come." She finally agreed as long as we left at half." Me: "Man, youve got to lay down the law with the old lady" Him "Usually I try but she said if we stay for the entire game I wont be getting any until summer, and she will make sure to have tons of house work to do the first week of the NCAA Tournamnet" Cant argue with that guy for leaving. THe wifey through the haymaker and it landed.

When they announced the starting lineup I was suprised KC wasnt in it. Then I read after the game Majerus asked him to start and he declined, not wanting to mess with the chmestry. Playing time or not he is a leader of this team.

That is a solid business plan. All sports bars are the same for the most part. Lots of TV's, fried foods, and some type of bar game. What seperates them is how good looking the waitress are and how slutty they dress. Its what keep people going to places like sportzone and Johnny's even though they charge $20.00 a bucket. If I want an uggo serving me my drinks Ill go to a south city dive bar and get $10.00 buckets, free popcorn, and $2.00 bags of home made beef jerky.
