Goodwin is going to be so great his last two years here! Ball handler and shooter coming in so he can play inside more and pick up all that trash! By the time those dudes are sophomores he will be dominate his senior year. Good things to come! In the short term I like the look of this team going in to the tournament. Our depth will likely keep us from winning it but should be a good run. Go bills!!!!

I really do think getting away from STL was his main motivation. That coupled with difficulty getting along with a few teammates made for an easy decision. I wish he could have just decommited before the season and left then though. I wish him well regardless.

I saw losses in our future but not this one. Time for Ford to take a good look at this team and decide who plays based on future goals. I’m not saying throw in the towel but if we find any more success this year I want to see KC and Fred getting serious minutes. I could care less about TI and don’t see Foreman helping us improve this season. If we fail with those guys getting more playing time than so be it. Go bills!

Wtf are you talking about. We have multiple topics regarding “our road to the dance.” Half of the comments on anything on this board involve our “chances.” We aren’t going to the tourney unless we win the Conf tournament and that ain’t happening with 7-8 players. So where does that leave us?

Hoping to discuss our postseason hopes in a more realistic light. This team has shown its cards and I’m looking to see what other posters feel going forward. Going in to this season it was NCAA or bust but we haven’t been a tourney team as long as I’ve been watching. Started this thread a few weeks back but it got shut down. I was at the game today with my daughter who is nine and this was the first time she was engaged the whole time. It was a fun game and the crowd was in to it. We had good seats (thanks bills07) and enjoyed the hell out of it. Watching JG rip his jersey to shreds and lose his sh*t in the tunnel was rough. He’s a Billiken through and through and I know this kills him. That said we are what we are and that is a team who struggles offensively but fights and doesn’t give up. I look forward to the rest of this season and hope for a good showing in the conference tourney and perhaps a few more home games after that. go bills!!!

I’ve said it for weeks now. We are an NIT team and that’s fine with me. We will have too many losses against the top tier in this league. I’m just being realistic. I’m enjoying watching this team. We stay in games and that is much better than recent years. Our path to the tourney relies on an A10 tournament victory. I just don’t see it but a deep NIT run is the logical next step for the bills and that’s what I’m rooting for going forward. Go bills!!

Sure would be something if he could get another year but he really has a great opportunity to play in the league and the interest nationally that he is receiving will keep him on the scouts radar from here out. He looks like late second round material to me. Didn’t hurt that he knocked down five threes in front of the scouts while completely shutting down their best player.

I honestly think we need to wait until we have played the better teams in this conference to get a grasp of where we are. The non con schedule went fairly well but we are a different team since CG left and that team has some growing to do. I don't think CG was the end all be all for this squad but i think roles have changed. Wiz has us pretty solid at a B and our NET ranking seems just outside of contention without opportunities for much upward movement. Why is it such an unpopular opinion that we are a good team and a good finish with a NIT run is a bad thing? I hope we move up to A- and I hope we somehow manage to survive conference play with only a loss or two but it just seems unlikely. that said... GO BILLS!!

Last undefeated team! great news for sure but we haven't played the decent teams yet... Im happy that we are undefeated and hope that it continues but I'm not sold until we get through the meat of the conference. I started a thread regarding our future and it seems to have been taken down... not sure why??? I do think that if we find a way to stay undefeated and eak out victories against VCU and Davidson that we deserve to dance but i really think we trend more towards an NIT bid and that really is fine by me. Im not sure why that is such a despised opinion.

In my head we had nine seconds left. We passed the ball well and often on that possession and I think he assumed it was close and had to put one up. A kick out for an open shot was the way to go. He’s a freshman though and from what I’ve seen thus far will learn from that mistake. Looking forward to his career.

Watching that Buffalo game they looked fantastic. Swarming defense and great passing. They shot better than should be expected going forward but I did not see that coming. I thought that they played and looked like a high major team and not a bracket busting Cinderella. Impressive.
