  1. I would like to see our grades pre covid and after covid...the eye test says we are not an A- team post covid ..
  2. Has had Covid back in the spring when his entire family got it and he had family members die including I think his grandmother...he said at the start of this season on social media he still didn't feel right...may have gotten it again recently. Along with that just lost a close friend to covid...this taken as a whole may have had a big impact on him
  3. Not happening ...only game on tonight and anyone watching will not see the whole season..it is a thrashing not a loss with Dayton’s net in the 90s .. our Net will be 40+ now..it’s only tournament win or bust
  4. Agreed ...we are the only game on...even the halftime announcers are calling us a no-show
  5. 24-7 run..no excuse for the lack of effort ...
  6. Embarrassing effort...defense is a step slow on every drive to the basket
  7. Maybe I missed it but what happened to Jacobs ?
  8. Ford is lost right now ..why is Has still playing and Yuri going hero ball
  9. Jacobs and Thatch need to play the rest of the game...Perkins and Has are not the answer right now
  10. Anyone else confused by the first half substitution pattern and what 5 were on the floor? Jacobs had 3 straight run out layups with the last a great defensive play by him...was substituted for on the next possession...made no sense to me along with the rest of the half
  11. What is interesting is that Richmond was chosen to host the A10 tournament so one would think that they have protocols in place that A10 was confident in.
  12. Michigan State just back from long layoff like us and go beat at Rutgers by 30 only scoring 37 pts..in comparison we looked pretty good given the layoff
  13. For some ray of hope... Michigan State just came back from a long layoff like us and lost by 30 at Rutgers only scoring 37 pts...in comparison we performed much better and hopefully that bodes well as we get our game back
  14. Totally agree..I sit close to Travis and the bench and he gets lost in the “emotion “ of the game at times which I attribute to his being a great college player himself...I place some of it on the assistants who either seem hesitant or just don’t get involved ...matchups are so critical to success and we miss the mark on our team on the floor or recognizing who to play or not to..
  15. Agree Pistol...I still never forget how we lost at home last year by letting crutcher get the ball on the inbounds...never should have happened..and to make it worse jacobs let him catch the ball while he was moving toward his basket...double team him and let someone us beat us
  16. Announcers keep saying we had 3 straight great traps in the corner but foul and why ...I agree with them
  17. Worked the offense through French too much... no flow all night and really question some decisions on what 5 were on the floor
  18. College basketball rankings: Surging Minnesota knocks Michigan State out of Top 25 And 1 - CBSSports.com
  19. Agreed....made it better for me also.
  20. If Fred is healthy there is no comparison... Fred is a great athlete with a high level desire and motor. Jacobs was nicknamed the ghost by many as his tendency to disappear in games was noteworthy. Yes he has talent but I would take Fred if healthy and I don't think it is even close.
  21. Classic Heinrich story...I was at Kemper Arena Dec 30 1999 when we were playing well and up by a few points on Kansas in the second half. Heinrich was all by himself under the hoop , went up for a dunk and put the ball awkwardly to the bottom of the rim and fell to the floor. 18000 Jayhawk fans let out a roar that was almost like they were laughing ...we lost all momentum and after a Boschee three we were done. Think we lost by 11 but it all fell apart after that disastrous try for a dunk.
  22. A wonderful man who I was privileged to know. A true Billikens fan who put a smile on many children’s faces over the years. I will always remember him and his devotion to the kids.
