I played against Brian is HS. He was only a soph so we got the best of him. He developed into a nice player.

Of course JH would have helped. However, next year looks pretty good in my opinion. Whether Kevin and Tommie play 1,2 or 2,3 next year I believe they are the best in the league. BE is a senior and will have a year under Rickma. BT should come in and give us just as much as Bryce as a frosh if not more. Sounds like Conklin and KM will contribute right away. PE is a smart kid who has a year under his belt and knows the offense. Not to mention 4 other recruits with strong up sides if all qualify. Sure, there will be some growing pains. Thank god we have the best backcourt in the A10 to smooth the transition. Good luck at UK Josh. I hope one day we meet you in the field of 65 and beat your ass though. Go Bills!

RM mentioned the LV invitational on his interview on Bernies show last month.

I'm going to take a stab and say for the bills to make the tourney we need the A10 freshmen of the year in this up-coming class.

Will Brett Thompson be as effective his freshman season as Bryce this year?

Jay Bilas made the statement on gameday a few weeks ago that "referring to any team in the A10 as a mid-major is rediculous."

I have always said, if I was picked to shoot for the cash that if I didn't make it I would be all over it. Tonight the Scoop man was called to the floor. After about six beers I threw up three airballs. Still laughing as it was the funnest thing I have done in a long time. A word of advice to future contestants, don't try to shoot it. Heave it. What a game.

Good Post, but what is frustrating is that this did not have to be a rebuilding year. I'm sure RM's system is great but this isn't the team for it. If tommie and kevin have the green light all game like they had at the end, we win that game. This team is painful to watch trying to run this new offense. I'm sure it will be fine in a couple years but we need to utilize the talent we have now and adapt. It's not rocket science. I don't write a check to this program every year to lose to Sammy Davis State. I just hope we don't waste the best back court we have had in over a decade over "learning the system".

With Houston Baptist making the transition to D1 will it count as a D1 win? I was so sick of hearing how we only won 19 games last year that counted because of the Quincy game.

I went to hammerstones once last year for the shuttle and really enjoyed it. Talked Bills hoops with a couple other fans and of course free parking. I went back again a couple weeks later and they were not running the shuttle. If they they would be consistent on the home games I'd be in.

Bryce will have to get some pt based on our lack of depth alone. My call is 15 min. a game. Throwing a seven footer in the mix in certain situations doesn't hurt.

If Luke Meyer is not in the starting line up we have a problem. He is a senior with great work ethic and leadership. He does the dirty work and does not miss the 15 ft baseline jumper. You don't bench someone like Luke especially when he gave us 10 and 5 last year.
