You guys had an awesome turnout last Friday, and I hope that we get another great turnout on Saturday. It was really gratifying to see so many students at a game that didn't even count. After Saturday's game, we don't have another home game for two weeks, so it will be very important to somehow keep Billiken basketball at the front of everyone's minds during the Paradise Jam. The final game will be televised, so if we're playing in it, perhaps it would be a good idea to hold a game-watching party at Wackadoo's to continue the momentum you're establishing. By the way, I liked the cowbell. As a wise man once said, "I'm telling you, fellas, you're gonna want more cowbell! Explore the space..."

You've got to be kidding me. Any player on our team would rather be the #16 seed in the NCAA Tournament than the winner of the NIT.

I really hope that the women's soccer team can win the conference tournament and go to the NCAA tournament. They were so close last year. I watched their final game vs. DePaul last year, and it really was heartbreaking. At least one of our soccer teams is playing well these days.

That is a great idea - I want one of those shirts! I will beat Billiken Roy to the punch by recommending that you make the shirts royal (Billiken) blue, if possible. I would also recommend that you guys work with the alumni relations and athletic departments to get the word out to the alumni base, season ticket holders, Billiken Club members, etc. Maybe even get Humphrey's and Laclede involved to sell beer and food.

I'd rather play in a more intimate building, filled with fans who actually care about the program as opposed to recipients of corporate tickets who have little interest in the game and our team. During Spoon's tenure, we may have had a lot of bodies in the seats, but I wouldn't say that we had a solid base of 12,000+ true "fans."

I don't really think that we need 12,000+ seats though. The Cintas is around 10,500, if I'm not mistaken, and that would be perfect for us.

I'm a newbie when it comes to the game of golf (just took up the sport about three months ago), so you'll have to be patient with me out there. I'll be hitting the driving range on my lunch break tomorrow, so hopefully I will be ready to go!
