I hate to tell you this but those were the best refs the A-10 has to offer. The bald guy was Mike Kits and I think he did a final 4 game last year. Another guy whose name is Bob Donasomething does a lot of TV games and I'm sure was in the NCAA's last year. I also recognize the other guy which means he also is a TV guy.

Gary Link,Missouri's color guy gave Miller credit for fouling when up by 3 with seconds to go. I can't believe there are coaches[including Rick} who don't foul in that situation. It's just so obvious to me that is the only to do.

David I agree with your impression but we really don't know anything. Since practice is closed it's all a quess on our part. My quess is that the rotation will be a work in progress. I know it's trite but I think Rick will play those who practice well,and we don't know who they are.

I think what your suggesting would be a lot more likely if Rick believed in pressing. If you pressed you could be like that for a few min. If you don't press anything you gain on the offense is negated on defense. I don't think you'll see it unless somebody is hurt or a lot of foul trouble.

Marty tried to give Rick a hard time about being unavailable to the local media. Rick challenged him saying he has given 9 talks/interviews in the last 2 weeks. He spoke of the event he did at the Chase and charity work in Wisconsin. Spoke highly of Kevin and Tommie. Loves our new building. Likes our freshmen but says they are freshmen. Rick wore a nice blue tee shirt with a Billiken on it. I thought he only did black for the slimming effect. Good interview.

A student can register wherever they want,either using their local address or voting absentee in their home state. I believe there was a recent court case which reaffirmed the students choice.

I don't understand why they don't have some kind of blue/white scrimmage. It would probably be good for the kids to have some kind of dress rehersal. It would help build some interest with the hard core and maybe a few students. I use to enjoy going to a few practices but understand why a coach keeps it closed. I'm not sure why they are closed to the media who might generate some buzz.

The possible breakup of the big east is why we should be in the A-10. If we have any chance of being a part of a new league we will need that eastern visibility. If we were part of the MVC we would be there forever. The A-10 is the best place for our next move.

I have felt all along that he should have kept Knollmeyer. The kid was a big body who I felt did ok in his limited time. You could have still taken Harrilson. Danny L is just an after thought.

You could only trade him for someone who also has a high contract but doesn't necessarily fit that teams needs. The bulls have too many guards.

I guess they won't be able to trade him for awhile.
