Back in the 70's boosters actually helped in the recruiting process. I was fresh out of graduate school with a decent job and was friendly with Roy's favorite coach Ron Ekker. We were recruiting Wallace Robinson at the time, and Ekker asked me to take him to lunch at Kemoll's. Mr. Cusumano was our host, and was just tremendous. He sat down with us, mostly talking about the great food we were being served. It was a great couple of hours. In the early days of the golf tournament there was a pre party the night before. You could always count on Kemoll's for bring several dishes to be served. A true gentleman and great Billiken fan.

Don't get locked into American basketball stereotypes . Dirk Nivitzki{sp}does a pretty good job playing away from the basket. If the kid is mobile I would hope that he would play away from the basket from time to time. It's all about matchups.

It will be very interesting to see how RM does with Brad's recruits. While most of us believe that Rick is one of the game's better coaches, you don't know untill the games are played. What will the chemestry be??

If this jucco can play at all I expect to dance next year. I really believe RM might be worth 4 or 5 games.I expect better X's and O's and better play from all of our players.

As bad as this will sound Roy hit on a point,"Brad was a true family guy". Instead of hitting the gym or schmoozing some boosters he would rather go home and spend time with his family. Unfortunately coaching is not a 9 to 5 job. I once heard Torres Roundtree' uncle call a radio show and say they never saw Brad. It's sad that a man with the right priorities might not be suited for the job at hand.

The Utah game in Cleveland was a night game,didn't start untill something like 9:30 pm Eastern time. It was one of the last games of the day.It was hard finding a bar that stayed open after the game to drown our sorrows.
