Schasz
The citizen of the year and the article seems to mention some of the good and bad about SLU's leader. http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stor...81?OpenDocument
Billikan
Typical Post Dispatch--gives many more lines to a couple of students than interviews with community leaders who know what a great job he has done. I know him well and he is a typical CEO of a major institution but with a softer side. He is agressive, he has vision and he has achieved results. Anyone who is successful, and all continued success involves change, will be subect to some criticism because many people cannot or will not accept change in their lives. As a double grad of the University, I am astounded at what Father Biondi has accomplished. He deserves a medal!
Cowboy
i didn't like the term "late spring" when talking about groundbreaking, previoulsy it was always spring
BillikenButch
I am glad he talked about it in the article. He will get the project done. He is quite the dynamic leader. Good to see him receive the recognition.
tseugnekillib
Cowboy....if you don't like the term "late spring"....you probably won't like the shovel Fr. Biodi uses in the ground breaking ceremony. Relax, after a zillion years the Billikens are going to have their own on-campus arena!
Cowboy
i'll buy the damn shovel but until it goes in the ground i will continue my cautious approach i will be totally psyched when that day arrives,i just want it to get here quickly (along with a shooter!!!) Major Majerus
I recommend a foxhole shovel to compliment your cautious approach :+
