CT: We still make the calls. Some recruits are looking for a good situation and some are looking for an NIL. What is your number $$. A lot of fan bases are yelling at us coaches, but the fans need to throw money into the pot now. Rammer: some fans are panicking now in June with the roster not filled. That is the new game. CT: a lot of players are waiting it out, seeing where they can get the best number. "Want a good NIL deal for me and my family." Frank: How does this NIL work. Do the coaches put a dollar figure on a player and say this is how much we can offer? CT: We don't have that conversation, the Collective has those conversations. CT: most of the guys are in. Foreign kids aren't all in. They are getting it aligned. The work now is conditioning, with no basketball drills. Frank: what is your nucleus. CT: Gibson, Parker and Hughes may be the nucleus. Certainly some of the top 3 guards in the A10. Thames is bigger, faster, and stronger. TJ Hargrove brings in the experience and energy. Next week Coach Ford gets them on the floor. Frank: how close are you to getting another big man on the squad? CT: How do you know it is a big guy? We are close to getting a couple of guys in. Frank: how does the process work. CT: A recruit comes in, the coaches like him, how do you get to the Collective. Coaches do share thoughts/information with Troy and Scott. They do the conversation. CT: Dalger is a good piece coming in. We are expecting a lot of things from him. He is here on campus. Future is bright for Collins and Perkins. Pretty sure both will be on summer teams. Perkins just worked out with the Jazz. He is in Vegas working out. GM's will see their work ethic and what they can bring to a team. Goodwin is working to be an everyday starter. He is in town and comes over late at night to work out at the campus. After the interview Frank mentioned "the kid from Memphis". Rammer said they have gone from maybe the smallest team in the A10 to one of the tallest.
