courtside
This could have been already posted...from various sources and places. SLU target Roosevelt Jones has been playing well this summer for the Saint Louis Eagles and getting noticed. Albany, Wichita St. Iowa St and SLU are listed as his most interested schools and he is still saying SLU is his current favorite. He was scoring a great deal in Orlando. Ravonte Rice from Champaign Centennial, a SLU target has most interest from Kent St., Ohio, Oregon St, Western Michigan, Illinois St, Eastern Illinois, Akron, Miami, Nevada, DePaul, Drake, Niagra, Detroit...with additional interest now from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Boston College, Mizzou, Stanford. The undersized 16's Eagles team made it to the finals of the Silver division of the 17's in the Orlando Showcase behind the strong play of Jones, Brad Beal, Shaq Boga, and Justin Miller. Miller (All MVC schools, Iowa St. Iowa, Mizzou, Virginia, UConn) missed most of the final day due to injury. In the front row for the final to watch Beal were Coach K and Wojo, Self, Crean, Johnny Dawkins from Stanford. Also watching the Eagles over the weekend were Jay Wright, Tony Bennett, Jeff Capel, Billy Donovan, Jim Calhoun, and Arizona, and some of these teams assistants too...mostly to see Beal who didn't disappoint. Duke has aggressively entered the mix for Beal among the past others.

Box and Won
Thanks for the update. Despite not having ever seen him play or knowing anything about him, I want Shaq Boga. Sounds like a Star Wars character. Or a werewolf...

Schasz
Courtside, Thanks for the information on how the recruits SLU has their eyes on fared at Orlando. My move to South Florida made it really impossible to make it. Hopefully, Coach Majerus will be successful in landing some of these players.
