Schasz
Well after Cincy and Louisville, the other teams are in a dog fight for NCAA bids. UAB 69 Charlotte 62 They won't be in a good humor for our game. DePaul 62 Marquette 70 They get off the floor after losing what 3 in a row. Cincy 83 S MS 47 So much for any fool looking for an upset here. K State 49 OK 61 Well the Wildcats don't appear ready to help our RPI. NashvilleBilliken
The Dayton score is what scares me. I really hope those guys pick up the pace. I think UB was counting on them for a big RPI boost, but they haven't quite been the same since New Years Eve.....
tseugnekillib
It seems to me that the timing of when you play a team plays a key role in your record.....road or home game, injuries to top players, shooting slumps, etc. In their 69-62 home loss to UAB on Saturday, Charlotte made only one of 18 3-point attempts and made only 21 of 36 free throws! Can Charlotte shoot that bad two games in a row?

Can Charlotte shoot that bad two games in a row? They can if the Billikens' defense is good enough.
STLBlazer
The keys to you beating them this week will be to stop Curtis Withers and contain Brown and Plavich. Plavich is the most one-dimensional player in CUSA and probably in the nation. 99% of his shots are 3pters and right now he has been shooting poorly. 20% of the 3pters that he made came in the Syracuse game and then I think he had another night with 8 made. He doesn't rebound, doesn't pass, and doesn't play great defense. All you have to do is stick a body on him at all times and force him to take bad shots, which he will, because he rarely sees a shot he doesn't like. D. Brown is almost one-dimensional but he brings more to the table than just scoring. Curtis Withers is a monster and will destroy you if your big men are not up for the challenge. Had it not been for his huge game, we would've blown Charlotte out...BIG TIME. If your coach is smart and has a good game plan you guys will stand a good chance at winning. Your team has played well lately while Charlotte has not, probably because they are "buying into" all the hype that Gay Jay Bilas is feeding them about them being a "lock" for the NCAA tourney. Good luck until Saturday.
DeSmetBilliken
When I was reading the UAB board earlier I saw a mention that Demon Brown has a sprain of either one of his fingers or his right hand. If this injury persists, then his shooting might not be at the same level it normally is at.
Box and Won
Sounds like Blake Ahearn, who unfortunately had a big night against us.
Mobile-iken
I'm glad you added that little note on D. Brown. I thought he was the most one dimensiol player in the conference.
