Yuri's scoring is a strange thing to be so focused on. I'll take a PG who controls the tempo and averages 5 ppg and 5 apg over a PG who scores 10 ppg and 3 apg every day of the week. Plus, Yuri was a freshman, so it isn't crazy to expect his scoring to go up slightly in his sophomore season.

Our most used lineup will likely be Yuri, Jimerson, Goodwin, Perkins, and French. According to KenPom, our most used lineup (26.3%) over our last 5 games was Yuri, Hargrove, Goodwin, Perkins, and French. Either of those lineups presents a variety of match-up nightmares for our opponents.

We are nit-picking here, no doubt, but there is a difference between referring to the men’s team or women’s team and adding lady to the school’s mascot when referring to one of those teams. It’s the Billikens, men and women. As I mentioned earlier, no one would call the men’s team the gentlemen Billikens.
