Travis and Tate both out recruiting at the Midwest College Basketball Academy at University of Illinois. Was cool to see Tate and Jamall Walker chatting for a while.

Looks like Welmer has been cleared for Paintball Activities, that has to be the final step in rehab before he gets on the court.

TBH I think that fad is kind of over and a little played out at this point. I think some shirts with "Straight Outta the Lou" or something might play but plastering that everywhere might be a little much. I was born after the original song came out so maybe I'm just not connecting to it as much, idk. I definitely do agree with you that the marketing department can and should do better than what they have done.

My favorite McBroom story was when he was playing at the rec with some of the other basketball guys against some Rec scrubs and kept trying to show off his handles dribbling around in circles and going no where. My buddy ended up guarding him and and basically just stood there hands on his hips and didn't move on any of his crossovers or fakes then McBroom steps back for a 3 and the guy swatted the shot onto the track. As you'd expect Austin pouted for a while and started calling fouls for reach-ins and traveling on the other team. It was one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

From the last time I was in there it has 2 or 3 batting cages, decent locker room with TV and videogames (nothing close to basketball though), small treatment/rehab area, fridge with drinks and snacks.

All I can picture in my head when reading this is Jermaine Bishop wearing those glasses with the attached mustache and telling everyone that his name is James Bishop.
