Whoever said the sports train left the SLU station years ago was right on the mark. I didn't want to believe it, but it's true. Dr. Chaifetz, God bless him, but that money was not well spent. SLU's a lost cause and it pains me to say it. Why would a recruit want to even think about coming to this shitfire ?
What are you talking about?

Billikens terrible from the three-point line. Jimerson, Perkins, jacobs, and collins have to get it together. We will win exactly zero games with this kind of 3 point performance. Awful. Jimerson needs to take more shots, perkins needs to give us the threes I know he can deliver
I think we blame the layoff on that one. In game jumpers don't come easy after a month without them

So after browsing the CBS sports website and the CBS sports app, signing in with a TV provider and streaming is more complicated than any other streaming service I’ve ever seen.

Our LSU win is now in Q2. The NC State win is now Q3, right there with Indiana State. Minnesota game remains Q1.

-has Strickland returned? does he have to Q after traveling? this game should be an all hands on deck approach, even JGood might not get 30 minutes and I hate that
Where did Strickland travel to? I must have missed that

Are the 4 players still testing, players who have been negative the entire time? This doesn't say that these 4 are out, so hopefully they are in individual workouts. Stu concludes 11 were positive. 11/16 = 68%, so I wonder the numbers included for 80%. It's not important, but just wondering about the count.
I think they're the ones who aren't cleared to play is my guess. Not the ones who have tested negative the entire time. I could be wrong though.

What I meant was: Who cares if they're perfect at home and not on the road ? They're still a solid program.
got it! that makes sense! Unfortunately the committee does take that into account but luckily Minnesota is so good at home that they'd need a total meltdown not to make the tournament

I’m doing just fine... I just pointed out i that I don’t enjoy reading about Trump hate and vile language on a BASKETBALL BOARD... do you????? There are scores of political based message boards that I could refer you to if you need help. If the moderators intend to turn this board into a bastion of liberal talking points, then they are well on their way to success....

Lol...since when does voting make any difference in this country??
I guess I’m trying to understand what you’re angry at me for? I haven’t even made a political comment. I’m going to stop replying now.

I was wondering about you. There is hope on the covid vaccine front....I am afraid we are still years away, though, on the TDS cure. Hang in there. I admire BBF trying to help you.
Trump Derangement Syndrome? I can’t even tell if you know who I voted for?

who cares ?
Billikens fans. I’m not sure if you saw, but Minnesota is our only loss. So the more games they win the better it is for us.

It’s not about whining, but stating the obvious... their political agenda is now more important to them than having a quality message board..They continually allow hate and filth from the same group... and ironically it will eventually destroy this once great site...
Dude are you okay?

I think it is one of the better ones in the league. This league lacks originality for the most part. Hell, there are three teams named the Rams.
Remembered VCU and Rhody immediately. Took me way too long to remember Fordham's mascot. How do we get them to the America East, Northeast, Colonial, or Patriot League?

Where is the tremendous depth this team was supposed to possess? No 2nd half minutes for Thatch, Bell or Hargrove. Right now, it looks like Ford only trusts 7 guys with Jacobs and Gibson sharing a spot and Linssen spelling French.
Depth doesn’t necessarily mean going 10 guys deep the whole game. Sometimes it means it gives you more options to pick your 7 for a game. Maybe thatch and Hargrove are more active in the next game. We got hot in the second half and stuck with what worked. Which is also a plus side of having so many players.

Can someone go explain to Jordan what baseline is at half? Stepped on it three times.

MU is better than everyone thought. Tilmon would absolutely dominate us if Has ever got in foul trouble or had to come out. But I still think we are the better team. They don’t have two guys that can put it in the bucket like perk and Jimerson.
Would we be able to say the same thing about Has dominating them if (when) Tilmon gets in foul trouble?

Regrettably, there was difficulty in getting a new contract for a server upgrade this week - and we will still be on the old server this weekend. If you want the details, I can share via PM. But lets just say I am disappointed in my hosting company, as the delay is not technical but bureaucratic.
Throughout the last week, I have made many tweaks to Billikens.com on the backend to place reduced demand on the server. Last week during the LSU game, some were able to participate in the GDT. My hope is that we will not completely crash tonight. However, overall I regret that we are experiencing any problems at all.
My apologies for this inconvenience, and I thank you for your patience.
Steve
We just appreciate you for all you do

I don't think Toppin will do well at UK. Obi would have never developed the way he did without playing time and ditto Jacob. Jacob Toppin will likely be buried on the UK bench year after year what with four- and five-star kids coming in and taking playing time away from him. He was okay in the A10 with promise. Now, not so much. Obi developed because he was a guard in a big body, took a red shirt year and devloped in a league short of talented big men who could cover him. The Toppins remind me of when Kostas Antenwhatever went to Dayton and they all thought he'd be Giannis II. Didn't pan out and neither will UK for Toppin IMHO.
I agree with all of this. But I don’t think Kostas is too upset. He’s probably shining his NBA championship ring as I type this

Who do we hope wins in the VCU-Dayton matchup from potential league standings and NET rankings? do we hope VCU stays hot? or do we hope Dayton wins to make the loss look better?
