I'd rather have Crews than anybody else right now. I'd say he's definitely a leading candidate for NCOY and he's made the team his own. Getting a new coach we'd be starting all over again... He needs to stay and make it not only his team, but his program.

I can't handle all this stress. Not getting into this new conference would just kill our program... And if the C7 gets the Big East title, what will the old Big East be called?

DE and GG got off the bus and carried 'em the rest of the way. They just got fed up with all the bullsh!t and took matters into their own hands. They thought of it as an early warm-up.

I feel like the only thing giving ANYONE any sort of hesitation is the fact that we're on the road. We beat Butler on the road; a better team, better arena, and much tougher game. The only threats they have are Travis Taylor and Semaj Christon. Those are their two leading scorers and they are crucial components of their game. Dwayne Evans on Taylor and any one of our guards can handle Semaj. They take all the shots and both score double-digits per game. If we can shut them down, it'll be even more of a blowout. Bills by 15.

No outstanding team: agreed. Ever going to make a run, this year: disagreed. I think with our success this year we'll be able to boost recruiting and getting into the new BE would REALLY boost recruiting. Jim Crews still being up there in the COY race has gotta help. Lots of factors and worst-case scenario we have a dry year before getting back on top.

KC, Dayton, or Lexington would be nice... But I think no matter where we end up I'll be there with crew supporting, loud and proud.

And I guess Lunardi might be a little pissed after whooped up on his St. Joe's... Although, I don't know if it's necessarily a bad thing that we don't get any respect from him. We've always thrived as the underdog, being the underdog in some people's eyes will only give us more to prove.

That's probably right, hah. My bad. I was more focused on the KC part of the seeding. Really want to be within driving distance, flying would be the less appealing option.

On March 1 the ESPN bracketology had us at a 4 seed in KC playing against Creighton... Interesting that two wins for a combined 26 points wasn't enough to even keep our seed... Is it just me or does it seem like Lunardi really doesn't like us?

I have a selfish request here, but an easy and enjoyable one. I've been given permission to write a current events paper on the Billikens. My problem is I can't seem to find a good video or article that relates to our current streak and success. Anybody have any good links? I need both a video and an article. Please and thank you.

Insider information from a wealthy contributor on the SLU athletic board said that they will make the Jim Crews announcement sometime this week. Interesting if you ask me, personally I'd wait until Selection Sunday AT LEAST, but I'm anxious to see if that comes true or not. And to the Mike Brown mention a couple pages back... That'd be great. I think somebody with NBA ties like that could really lure some big name recruits with NBA plans. Plus, with the new conference possibilities, I think that gives big reason for Crews, or anyone, to step up and fill the position. No matter what happens, we need to get it figured out soon. No recruit is going to want to come into a program without plans for a year in the future.

Definitely. He makes losing Kwam next year a little more affordable.

We have four realistic chances of being within driving distance from St. Louis.: If we end at a 6 seed, we could draw Lexington (East). If we end at a 5 seed, we could end up in KC. (West). If we get a 4 seed, we could get KC again (West). If we get a 3 seed, we could be in Lexington again. (East) I really hope that throughout the rest of the season we move up a little, because we could easily win out the regular season and if we do well in the A10 Tournament we could climb even higher. I could realistically see us at a 3 seed. I know that I'd be driving up to any of those that I mentioned, anybody else plan on going?

That's why we've been so good lately, we're the one of the most versatile teams in the league.

I think it would take a little more than a few mediocre wins to jump to the Top 10. Semi-finals of the a10 tourney at least to jump into the top 10.

I'm expecting 19 in the AP, but wouldn't be surprised by 18! If we win out and get far in the a10 tourney, I could legitimately see us as high as 10. Agreed?
