  1. This is brilliant. However much time this took you, it was time well spent.
  2. Dayton loses to Illinois St, 81-75
  3. Reggie being taken to hospital but expected to travel back with team
  4. Kinda reminds me of when SLU was put in the Midwest region, with #1 overall seed (and eventual champ) Louisville, Duke, and the "12 seed", Oregon...
  5. Assuming neither of us loses until that February 15th game, you guys will probably be in the top 5, but we still wont be ranked....which will make it that much sweeter when we destroy you guys.
  6. Not really on the subject of (alleged) drug use, but I saw a great shirt the other day that said "When Cardinals die, they become Angels". I thought it was pretty funny.
  7. Cant wait to embarrass VCU at Chaifetz again this year, and then run them out of their own gym a few weeks later. But both teams have a lot of work to do between now and then. See you on February 15th smithchad660
  8. That was hilariously bad. And by hilarious, I mean it was incredibly frustrating, which is the best way to describe today's game as a whole.
  9. Student ID should get you in for free. First 1000 students get a free shirt.
  10. Looks like it's my time to shine...I'll do my very best. To the other students on here--I'd like to try to work with you guys to fix things in the student section. I think that you guys are a lot more dedicated and spirited than the leaders. I'm open to your advice and any other help. I want the SLUnatics to be a force to be reckoned with, the type of student section that opposing teams know is going to be loud and crazy. I think that real student input (as opposed to the opinions of 4-5 people) will go a long way to get more student participation and enthusiasm.
  11. As one of the SLUnatics, I can tell you that I was never informed of this. I would have been advertising had I known. Honestly, I don't know if a student ticket will be necessary. It's a noon start, and most kids wont be getting back from Thanksgiving break until afternoon. There will hopefully be a lot of students who live close, but I'd be surprised to see a packed student section. Also, if you didn't know, I doubt many other students know either, so you wouldn't be the only one without a ticket.
  12. I'm glad Indiana St won for 2 reasons: 1. Obviously good for our SOS 2. Not that we would before, but this makes it so that theres absolutely no way we can overlook them now. That game is over Christmas break and is dangerously thrown in around the "cupcakes" on our schedule. We have to be focused, and hopefully this reinforces that.
  13. Close game at half, Billikens pull away early in the 2nd to win by 16
  14. On behalf of the SLUnatics, I would like to apologize to the Billiken community. The student section was absolutely horrible tonight. I will do everything that I can to fix this problem.
  15. Heard that the band will be playing at this. They're trying to make it a bigger, more festive event, similar to what the bigger schools do for the "Midnight Madness"
  16. October 31 is also the night of Game 7 of the World Series. Hopefully the Cardinals have it wrapped up well before then.
  17. Billikens defeat Akron 2-0 in tonight's exhibition. Goals from Tyler David and Josh Kohring.
  18. Congrats and best of luck to Cory and all of the other seniors. I really appreciate the fact that we arent a one-and-done school. It's nice to watch players grow and develop (both on and off the court) over 4 years.
  19. Even more bad news for him throughout this week. First he didnt get Wiggins, and then finds out that Jared Drew didnt even include Kentucky on his shortlist.
  20. Exactly. We will only be able to play teams with completely unethical coaches. All of our nonconference games next season are against Kentucky.
  21. Exactly. We dont know how this will turn out yet. This looks bad now, without a doubt. But who knows, maybe Drew will go to some smaller school and have a solid career, a career that he wouldnt have been able to have at SLU. Drew could end up realizing that this was a blessing in disguise, becasue it allowed him to get significant playing time and blossom into a great player. It kind of reminds me of when Kwamain had to sit out due to the incident. Arent we all happy that he was on the team this year, as opposed to having graduated in 2012? We just have to wait and see how this situation pans out over the next few years.
