Teo's teammates now coming out anonymously saying that Manti loved attention and would go very far to get the attention on himself. I don't know if this was Manti's idea but unless some concrete investigative proof comes out saying that he wasn't involved, I'm going to believe he at least had a part in this

So am I understanding this correctly? Notre Dame says Te'o was a victim of a hoax, but Te'o said multiple times before that he met this girl? Wouldn't that mean that Te'o was in on it too?

I know he's struggled this year but I'd give the ball to this guy 2nd would definitely be Jordair. He can drive on anyone and get a decent look but I still want the guy who has proven time and time again.

Dwayne may have had 6 rebounds yesterday but I remember at least 3 times where he didn't box out his man and his man got an offensive rebound and scored. The other thing from Dwayne yesterday was early on the game when UMass got caught up in a bad switch and Rob was posting up Chaz in the post and Dwayne just looked at it and then called Rob out to set a screen for him. I'm not sure I've ever been more frustrated. Dwayne has struggled lately no matter what the stat sheet has said. I have complete confidence that he'll turn it around though. I wouldn't be surprised to see 20+ points and 8 rebounds out of him against Temple. Its good to see that we can win when some of our most important players have tough games.

I think it would be funny if Carter committed to Bryce Drew at Valpo and then Drew left Valpo after the season and became our coach. (Not saying I want Drew as our coach)

12 seems like too much in my opinion but I honestly have no idea. I think it's going to be a pretty good game. As long as we play our game and don't let UMass speed us up too much, we'll be fine. Gotta handle the press better than we did against Savannah St. Hopefully Kwamain has shaken more of that rust off. 2 big games this week. I don't think SLU has beaten Temple in Kwamain's time here. I think that's the only A10 team we haven't beaten since we moved to the conference but I'm not sure about that. Obviously have to take it one game at a time though. Take care of business against a UMass team that has won 7 straight and then concentrate on Temple.

Fouls were 20 on UNM. 19 on us. 20 FT's for UNM. 19 for us. Sounds about as fair as it gets.

I don't want Crews back but I don't agree with ripping on Crews for not redshirtting Carter even if he wanted it. He knew Kwamain would be out for 2 months and Carter was highly touted point guard. I don't think anyone really expected anything out of Barnett so Carter was going to be your 3rd guard while Kwamain was out. Everyone just wants to hate Crews but personally, I would not redshirt Carter in that situation. And after he got hurt, he didn't play for about 7 games so he still could have applied for a medical redshirt (but he wouldn't get one)

I could be wrong about this but I thought Carter said Wednesday was the first game he truly could've played in since his injury.

But in all seriousness, I think Tanner Bronson is going to get a look. I know he's still really young but he was around Majerus' system for a year. He's with Crews now. The guys seem to like him and he could be important to help keep current players around. Both Bo Ryan and Majerus have both praised him and his future many times. I think he was an assistant in the D-League for a year. If you watch the bench during the game, he seems to be calling the inbounds plays and other offensive set-ups mid game a lot. I've also seen him take charge of the huddle during games. I'm not saying he's the best choice but I think he will get an interview and I think he should be considered.

Question about this new conference: When this conference forms, what happens to the old Big East members such as Cincy, Uconn, Temple etc.? With all the new additions would they still be able to form a conference or are those teams coming for football only? If they do form a conference, would that have to take away another at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament because there is another conference or how do you guys think that will work?

From everything I've read and heard, I wouldn't expect VCU to get much of a look. They really seem to want to go in the private institution route which is fine with me. My proposed conference Georgetown DePaul Marquette St. Johns Seton Hall Providence Villanova SLU Xavier Dayton Butler Creighton

I think the chances are pretty good that we get the invite. Worried someone at SLU will screw it up though
