competitive, sure. but how do you expect this team to win a conference title when a majority of those games are close, and we don’t know who to give the ball to when we need a basket?

been a long time since I posted, season tickets holder… these are some epic chokes this year, sure…but is anyone else still concerned about how jimmerson just has an insane ability to just completely vanish? i’d have to dig around, but he has been a ghost in some major games. now that he is basically, i guess, our end game scorer…how do we win these games with him as our guy? 6 shots tonight. 2 airballs. early…and when we needed a bucket, he just looks like a guy who wants nothing to do with that pressure.

Other than for pure rest, I don't think he had a reason to use them last night. He could not figure out a way to get the offense going. A timeout wasn't going to help that.

I am just extremely disappointed. 3 friends and I were ready to drive to A City. We had our bags packed, went to watch the game, and were absolutely ready to leave and drive straight through to watch this team play one game. I haven't been that excited about a game in a long time, and to watch us lay the biggest of eggs is really a disappointment.

What is the goal for nearly every team in college hoops? I would say it is to make the big dance. That is my goal for this team every year. Does anyone truly think Brad is ever going to get this team to that goal? 5 years, we have never even made a CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT FINAL, and the only time we were a bubble team, we were 17-14, and it was his first year.

As long as I can get my vacation days okay'd from work, I am planning to go out there with my grandpa. Going to contribute a few dollars to Mr. Trump...

590 the fan has been a Billiken anti Brad rant for the last few hours. I cannot agree more about how ignorant Soderberg's comments were. What good is going to come by saying he wishes he had a below average player back. Is he trying to say the talent he has now is worse? That is going to boost morale. He even said he would like to have Newborne back. I mean that is absurd.

Sure is nice to be able to actually watch a road game without a lot of effort.

It took me awhile to realize this, because it seemed like there have been so many highs and lows this season, but this team has one major thing in common with nearly all recent bills teams. We play to the level of our competition nearly every game. We match up with the tough squads, and we struggle against the bad ones. I'm not by any means forgiving this team, but I once again realize where this team stands, just took a bit.

Maquire did look very nervous. He was extremely jumpy, but you can't blame him, it was his first gib time conference game experience. I was slightly disappointed with IV tonight, seems like he was a non factor all night. Overall a good win, just a shame we aren't 3-0 right now.

It is safe to say, barring no interruptions, there will be a much bigger "Fire Brad" sign at Wednesday nights game if we have to hear another "billiken short" or "quick hit" scouting report on the jumbotron by Brad.....telling me how great every single team we play is, and how it will be an incredible challenge to hold their leading scorer who averages 8 points a game in check, and how their center might be a bad matchup for our future NBA draft pick. Sorry for the run on.

An inexcusable loss.... Goodbye all potential students that thought about coming to a game for the rest of the year. Attendance is going to be rough. Did Duquesne not make the conference tourney last year? If not, it is insane that we just lost to the two teams who didn't make it last year. This is by far the worst 10-5 team I have ever seen. This clearly deserves the firing of Brad in my mind.

Although it was early, and the score was fairly lopsided, I thought in the last 2 minutes of the first half really hurt us. We attempted to run, and failed horribly. If we make one of those 3 wide open 3 point shots, it is a different momentum shift. I am just worried about the halftime speech. Brad - "Doing great, keep it up!" Roy - "Ok, here is what we need to do....."

Is it possible for SLU fans to attempt to wear SLU colors? I know there were a lot of NC fans tonight, but the stadium looked like a rainbow. Felt like a Rams game. Guess I am just jealous of the Braggin Rights fans.

Even if Pacific is struggling, this is still a very good win on the road.

I have been going to Bills game since i was a wee tot, but became a religious fan when I came to SLU in 02. I think I missed two games in four years, luckilly being from St. Louis I didn't miss any of the 1000 games SLU schedules over break. I also went to three of the last four conference tourneys, and about 4 or 5 other road games...the farthest being Arizona my freshman year.
