We've seen first hand the type of officiating Arizona receives. Their game here at Savvis last year with those three Pac-10 refs was a joke.

I thought that Newborne was supposed to be a rebounding animal. That was the report in the early pre-season. What happened. People are picking on Ian, but what's up with Newborne. He's been the big disappointment in my eyes.

This entire team is made up of Brad's recruits now. How can he convince me that he wants to play a more up-tempo style in the future?

I didn't think anyone could yell, "You Suck!" more than I do at the games. When there's a bad call, the Savvis security guy by me usually reminds me to yell it!

I too was late as I had to finish up that beer at Kellie O'Tooles and catch the end of the Evansville - Indiana State game. That's at least the second time this year they've started the game early.

On senior night, I believe I remember hearing that Tarkanian started all SIX seniors. The ref tossed up the ball and instantly called a techical foul for too many men on the floor. Now that's a touch of class from a usually classless coach.

This is the first game I've missed in about four or five years. I'm stuck out of town on business. Here's the deal: This year: The lost season...ouch! We thought things would be much better, but our seniors we've counted on are hurt. They must be trying their best, but they're hurt. Big bummer. Next year: The learning season...watch this team develop...Ian will turn into a stud...Dwayne will be awesome...Luke can really play...and the kids, Kevin and Tommie will show flashes...It'll be a fun year, but don't expect much. '06 - '07: Wow, we've got a team...Husak, who'd have thought he'd be this good? Tommie and Kevin are taking over... Dwayne can really run this show...NCAA appearance..but a tough draw and a second round exit (again). '07 - '08: Oh boy! If you don't have tickets for this season, you'll regret it. The best year since Easy Ed! Hey, a guy can dream...

I used to really look forward to those Xavier games back in the Grawer era. I sure hope that they can develop into our rival. We've also had some great games recently with Dayton.

Actually, I just noticed that I do get it. Channels 400, 401 and 402 are all Fox Sports College stations. Cool.
