As long we don't have any snow or sleet I will be coming over the mountain. Have not missed one yet. I should be with my 12 year old son. Well have the Billiken.com shirts on. PS. '72, do you know if they are they giving away any bobbleheads away? Seems everytime I go I get one.

30 years ago we used to walk it. Many times it was in the rain or bitter cold. I remember after beating ND with a Jesse Leonard buzzer beating beautiful move to the basket we celebrated on the way back by running around the old Union Station. That's when trains used stop at Union Station. WOW, am I showing my age........... -
Steve> received ours yesterday. They look great and in time for the the Charlotte game on the 28th. Thanks...

On this clear cold night here in the mountains of western North Carolina, KMOX came in very clear. What a heart breaker, well get these guys in St Louis. -

He has a Harvard law degree and works at Walmarts??? Wow..... -
Watching the K-State announcers, they indicated they could not understand why Reggie fouled the first time with the time clock almost running out.

Thanks to Nashville Billiken I learned that the game was on Direct TV and I was able to catch the 2nd 1/2. Reggie played great! I should hope that with his performance of 18 aganist Butler, 15 aganist Dayton and 25 this afternoon>> Reggie is a very good candidate for 'CUSA Player of the Week'.

I had a laugh when the paper said that Frerich's parents when traveling from Bowling Green to Dayton stayed in Columbus with friends. Boy, the press even knew where they stayed over night. -
Interesting blow-out.

I am in a state of depression

No problem Steve. Atlanta is kind of far for you. You may want to consider ECU game next year. Went to Greenville, NC (just maybe 175 miles south of DC on I95) to catch that game last year and it was great time. Especially when the Bills win. -

Steve, I believe I seen signs for the Amtrak in Greenville, SC. That's about an hour from where I live in Hendersonville, NC. -

I believe I will take you up on that and break open a cold one shortly. What I seen of GT in that pre-season NIT, GT is one tough team. What impressed me was how quickly they moved that ball. Our defense is going to be challenged even more then this AZ team. Now as long as it doesn't snow or sleet, I plan on heading down to Atlanta to see the game. It is about a 3 hour drive for me. -
Tough ending, just a matter of a inch to push this game into OT. Anyway, it was a great game and I thought the Bills represented themselves well on national TV. Reggie is one heck of a player. On to Atlanta next week.

Presently watching the Arizona-Team Nike game on Fox AZ. Justin just came off the bench for Team Nike to play center. Nike looks pretty good, one of the starting guards is Boche of Kansas.

I stopped by and watched UNC-Asheville's Blue and White game the other night. It was the same thing, the shorts almost look like clam digger pants. -

To get the 1st round bye, don't you have to have a 1st or 2nd place finish in the standings? -
Ian's debut should be at the K-State game.

I believe the WVU homecourt in Morgantown is being renovated. I do recall from last year, just before the Bills beat WVU, the Mountaineers beat Florida in Charleston. I think Florida was ranked in the top 3 at that time. This made that win over WVU extra special.

Lobo, I have Direct TV (no cable in the mountains) and it was on College Sports Network. This is a new station that they recently added. It is kind of a funny station. Every once and while it has some old great college football games, it covered the NCAA baseball championships and now it mostily broadcasts women's fall sports (soccer, field hockey, v-ball, etc..). So I was surprised by the broadcast of this game. Curious to see what this station covers during bball season.

Just doing some channel surfing waiting for the AL play-offs, on the College Sports Network during the 1/2 time of some women's game they had a nice piece on this years Billiken team. They showed a lot of highlights from this years Clemson win and a Indiana game of 10 years ago. Also they said they will be broadcasting the upcoming Indiana-SLU game.

About 25 years ago when living in New York I went to see the Bills play Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn. The way you described DePaul reminds me of this field. Never seen a outdoor soccer field so small and so compact.

Since I see many of us are planning on going to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech game, it maybe nice for us to get together either before or after the game for a cold one. I will be with my son. My wife is not a sports fan and I will probably have to leave her at Galleria Mall in Buckhead. Not everyone knows how to appreciate the finer things of life.
