moytoy12
Well, there's no doubt we are one of the best defensive teams in the country. But after 18.5 games, not sure we are going to fix these shooting woes.
slu72
MM's confidence is wayyyyy down. Can't believe he dished off to RL on that 3 which he took right in stride.
Bay Area Billiken
How does Fordham get the NY Mr. Basketball? Good school. Good location. But not good basketball? Pecora is a good recruiter, has good connections in NYC and Long Island. He was successful at Hofstra on Long Island in the CAA. Fordham has good guards, but Pecora needs to get good bigs. The growing pains have been slow, although there has been improvement. But Pecora is taking on some arrows from some restless fans this year. I think they need to be patient and give this guy a full chance. He started there at the Basketball Bottom. I have always maintained Fordham is a sleeping giant, and it is an important school for the A10 in NYC, the Media and Financial Capital of the World. TheA_Bomb
Nice to keep these guys in check and to only 16 pts for the half. The dominance of Jett these last few games has been awesome to watch.
moytoy12
Shooting 7% from 3 point land and 29% overall. I just don't get it. How did we get so bad at shooting the ball?

If they can ever convince some of their Wall Street alums, like Gabrelli, to be a Dr. Chaifetz, Fordham could be the Beast in the East. Bay Area Billiken
Doesn't it seem right that a Fraz-ier should be playing guard for a NYC team? But #10 freshman Jon Severe is a flat out star. If Fordham only had any bigs to go with him ... But Pecora is playing 4 guards.

moytoy12
We're streaky, and that's being nice. Very generous description. We've pretty much been on a poor shooting streak since the Oregon game.

Agreed. My son went to Fordham, Class of '11. He loves Rose Hill Gym, says, "Dad, we're the only school that's gym has stained glass windows." But that place opened in 1925 and is way too small, seats 3,200 maybe. Although it has been renovated, It has 9 rows on 1 side, 12 on the other, and 25 rows behind each basket. It also has restroom and concession issues. What Fordham needs is a new on campus facility. But the naysayers there say nada until they fill the one they have. Thus, it's a chicken and egg type of thing. The Business School at Fordham is named after Gabelli.
